We specialize in air conditions system and cooling systems. However, we work on everything: suspension, brakes, exhaust, power steering, enging replacement, tune ups, diagnostics, ect.

History

Established in 1947.

In 1947 John Roppel and Virgil Roppel, fresh out of the military, started an automotive radiator business on Baxter Ave. Now, in the year 2014, the family owned and family ran business has grown to having four retail automotive repair centers. In addition to the retail repair centers Roppel’s also expanded into the parts wholesale business and now has 9 wharehouses in four different states supplying AC parts, Radiators, Alternators, & Fuel pumps. At our Baxter Ave location we do radiator repairs and re cores. We also do work and re coating on gas tanks. If you are not close to Baxter Ave and have a part that needs to have work done to it there you may drop it off at a retail location that is closest to you.

Manager

Bobby Weatherford is the General Manager at Roppel’s on Dixie hwy. His Assistant Manager/​Service Writer is Jessica Pearce. We have experience in the automotive business and are here to take care of your automotive needs at a cost that is fair and only covers the things you need and not a single dollar more! We pride ourselves of being very honest people and we take very good care of our neighborhood and anyone that walk in our door. Most shops in the area send their customers to us and work to us.
