I have had nothing but positive results from Scott Guitar works. Ryan, the owner, does work of the highest quality. He just finished repairing my violin that had a crack running down the entire back of the instrument. The crack is hardly noticeable and the violin plays as resonant as the day I bought it. Thanks for your fantastic work!

I have had many guitars worked on over more than four decades. Ryan Scott is the best luthier I’ve ever worked with. I’ve had the best in town work on my guitars, and Ryan was able to make my strat sing when others couldn’t. His work on my other guitars has been brilliant. Several others I know now use Ryan with the same great results. My only complaint is he doesn’t charge enough and I want him to be around a long time!

Serious professional work from a truly gifted craftsman. Mr. Scott has done several«setups» on my various instruments, and once performed emergency guitar surgery on my Les Paul — fell off of a stage in St Louis and snapped the headstock — had it playing beautifully less than 24 hours later, in time for the next show! Can’t say enough good things about this guy. If you can afford one, I highly recommend picking up one of his custom made instruments. They are gorgeous.

Ryan has done a few jobs for me. It started with a set up for my telecaster and has blossomed in to so much more than that. He recently finished converting an SG of mine into a twin humbucker beast. His work is superb and I recommend him not only for set up and adjustments but for any custom work you might be looking for. He’s an easy going and straightforward guy and I urge you to call him up and discuss anything guitar related. I play many shows a month around town and I need to rely on my instruments on a daily basis. Ryan has set up nearly all my guitars and will continue to do so in the future. His pricing and turn around time cannot be beat. His new space is really impressive too.

Several years ago(2008), I took my acoustic guitar to Ryan for a bridge repair after it was«repaired» by somebody else who did not know what they were doing. The other guy(who worked out of a local guitar shop) just glued the broken part back on and crudely finished it with some minwax. Ryan on the other hand rebuilt the bridge better than new with a beautiful finish, and adjusted the action as well. Ryan is a real luthier, with real skills and the training to back it up. Even on my inexpensive guitar his skills were appreciated.
