Thornton’s

This is the mother of all Thornton’s! It’s huge.
It’s a gas station, and gas at this location is usually at least 10 cents per gallon cheaper than at other places in Louisville.
In addition, the convenience store at this Thornton’s is at least double the size of most. They offer an incredible variety of coffee, and more cold fountain drinks than I have seen anywhere else.
Iced tea is my passion, and this Thornton’s offers a huge variety of freshly brewed iced teas. (I think they have about 12 variations – 6 flavors, each offered sweetened or not.)
I’m not a big fan of any roller grill, but it’s pretty nice here. They offer some unusual condiments for your sausages, like grilled peppers and onions.
Like every Thornton’s I have visited, the Men’s room here is always spotlessly clean. Yes, I visit a lot of restrooms: the gallons of iced tea I drink see to that!
