I recently took a trip to Whit’s while heading to a party. I purchased a cheap bottle of wine and a cheap six pack. A couple days later when I checked my bank account I had seen that I was over charged(by $ 112 to be precise.) I contacted the store to try and settle the overcharge dispute without getting the bank involved, when I contacted the store the woman whom I spoke with only have me attitude and tried to manipulate the situation like I was at fault. Now I have to get the bank involved. I would highly suggest giving your business to another local business who needs it, but if you must buy from there I would suggest, cash only.

In the heart of the Hood, Whit’s is a cornucopia of culture shock for those who did not grow up in the Hood, or grew up in the Hood and made it out like the Jefferson’s. I love the fact that practically every liquor store was open on Christmas Sunday morning, you will not find that in Texas. The conservatives like to talk about too much government intervention, I want to know why as a free, tax paying American I cannot buy a bottle of Vodka on a Sunday. Freakin’ tight azzes… I digress. This is a no frills, have your $hit together liquor store, you come in ask for your bottle/bottles, pay in cash(no credit cards accepted here) and leave. If you are an Elitest who frequently eats arugula, you do not belong here. Go get your street cred some other place. Love the Remy Martin!
