Well my experience was I came there with a hair color in mind, pictures provided. They talked me out of what I wanted, and showed me a pic of what they suggested. I agreed, and the color came out looking NOTHING close to what either of spoke about. I think I kinda look like Cruella Deville, and paid close to $ 400 for it. I left with them knowing I was unhappy, but I’m not willing to ruin the integrity of my hair for them to try and correct it.

I’d to add that Z is a speciality salon & spa, which means your color will be with a color tech and that’s what they do. This gets you the best most experienced service. I love this and I haven’t found another salon like it. I definitely recommend a facial. Rose, Stephanie and Bella are my favorites but I’m sure they are all wonderful. I love love love this place!

Great salon, Bethany was my stylist and she definitely took the time to give me a consultation to make sure we were on the same page about what my ideal cut was.
Kind of weird that they do cut and color with 2 different stylist, and they only style you if you get a cut. (Dry and style yourself if you only get a color service). Non-​tipping salon which allowed me to go for a more advanced stylist. Must check out if you’re in Louisville, can’t wait to go to the spa!
