495 Chrysler Jeep Dodge Ram

Went here searching for a car and wasn’t impressed by the salesmen or the staff from the start. I went in looking for a brand new wrangler and right away they started showing me a Cherokee which I was not interested in at all. The salesman kept going on and on about the features and got the keys to test drive it. When I mentioned I came interested in the wrangler only he gave me an attitude right away. He immediately started telling me wranglers were overpriced and I couldn’t afford it (without ever checking my salary or credit) or even knowing my name.
I test drove a wrangler but only after he made me test drive the Cherokee he tried selling me. He spent 30 mins showing me every feature and inch of the Cherokee I didn’t want and allowed me to drive a few miles. When it came time to test drive the wrangler he spent 30 seconds on telling me how small it was and that’s there were no features. I got in the jeep to drive it and he said «Ok just go around the lot and come back». When I got out of the car he said «See nothing special about it right?».
Fast forward to paperwork. I started to (what I thought) was negotiating prices for the wrangler. They wouldn’t budge on the MSRP which no one pays «Sticker price» unless they’re totally clueless. After giving me the MSRP price and running my almost perfect credit score they came back with a $ 600+ monthly payment. When I disagreed with this price he went on to tell me the Cherokee was more affordable for me as if I was some college kid working at McDonald’s.
There were also many unneeded comments about my trade in car. Which was a 2012 Kia Sorento. They offered me $ 6k which was nearly $ 5k below trade in value on KBB and when I said that the trade in was unacceptable the finance manager said «It’s a Kia it’s a piece of junk».
I decided to go to another dealership and right away I told him the same thing. «I’m here for a wrangler». He showed me EVERY wrangler on the lot and allowed me to pick a few of the ones I was interested in. Monthly payments being $ 420. He showed me how to removed the hardtop before I even bought the jeep. 495 could learn a lesson or 10 from other dealerships. I’ll never go back and they lost 2 more customers from me sending them to the other dealership.

Slow start, as I had a different sales person. Once Eddie took control things got rolling and here I am in a new Ram. Eddie was not pushy, he was honest and I felt more comfortable dealing with him then I have with any dealer in the past. That happens to say a lot since I have pretty much had an issue with every car salesman up until Eddie, we were even under a time restraint and got it done without much bother. Just to give you some more info his little bother (sorry forgot his name). Had helped me as well during Eddie’s day off and was just as helpful, thanks guys!

Bought a dodge charger in 2013. The experience was pleasant enough. The Bluetooth function stopped working and after 5 times of bringing it in they told me they have no idea what to do about it. Not pleased with the service department

The salesman I had «Sam» was literally pressuring me to buy the car that I didn’t want, now I’m stuck with it! I felt for it because I couldn’t believed I was approved for a new car. He told just just buy the car to build up my credit which i did and a year later I called it feels like he didn’t even want to talk to me about. All I wanted was a used car ATM.

Had a talk with Sean the salesman and he explained what the issue was. I feel that the guy in service who was uninformed on the issue and insulting to me is not the way 495 operates, I got an apology and that goes a long way with me!

I called several times to speak with the service department, the receptionist answering the phone was nice but the Service Manager (NOT Oscar) was a jerk!
Too busy to answer questions, too busy to schedule service appointment and told me «well, to be honest you can have that work done anywhere.» That’s brilliant!!! Buy your vehicles elsewhere people because God help anybody needing repairs from these guys.

What a waste of time coming here to look at a car the car was driven by a smoker left all the smoking material inside in the car stunk and I’m walking off the lot

After months of research I set my heart on a Dodge Journey for the family. I started at a Dealership closer to me just North of Boston. I was not impressed by their prices or sales people. They wanted the same price, 25K for a basic, basic model that 495 Dodge gave me on the Crossroad Edition. This thing is loaded!
The first thing that really attracted me to 495 Jeep was the fact that their (low) prices that are advertised online are their ACTUAL prices — none of that «you may or may not qualify for all these rebates» bull crap. Kim was our Sales guy. He was laid back and honest, which we appreciated. Our credit situation is not the greatest but the Finance Guy was awesome. They got us the financing with only $ 1000 down and a respectable interest rate.
We are picking up our new Dodge Journey Crossroad tonight and I am like a little kid on Christmas! Thanks 495, you guys rock!

We just bought a jeep here this past week, and it was a fantastic experience!
The first thing that really attracted me to 495 Jeep was the fact that their (low) prices that are advertised online are their ACTUAL prices — none of that «you may or may not qualify for all these rebates» bull crap. It was so surprising to me that their prices were actually AS ADVERTISED online that I asked the guy like 5 times to make sure it was real. He was extremely patient about it too!
From that point forward I mostly dealt with one of the managers, Phil. He was extremely friendly and responsive, and easy to deal with. It was the last day of the month, which I know is a day that car sellers are known to push pretty hard to get cars off the lot, but I must say — Phil and Jim (the guy who deals with all the financial details) went above and beyond to close a deal with us. They stayed past close at the dealership (until 10 pm), and to avoid us having to come back the next day they arranged for Chris K (another great guy!) to deliver the jeep to our house (30 minutes away). It arrived beautiful and shiny (as if it was being displayed in the showroom) and with a full tank of gas. Chris K took his time to make sure we understood how to use all the features and answer any questions we had about the vehicle.
All in all, it was a great experience. I highly recommend looking into buying your vehicle at 495 Jeep: o)

We just got our Jeep’s front brakes replaced here. Oscar took the time to explain what happened with our old brakes by taking us into the shop and showing us the problem– he showed us how a vehicle’s rotors should look verses what ours looked like. They were discolored because the calipers were freezing up, causing the vehicle to ride with the brakes engaged at all times. We brought the Jeep in first thing Saturday morning and they had it fixed by 2:00 that afternoon. I was really happy about that because I know it can be hard to get your vehicle fixed on a weekend. The people here seemed very customer service-​oriented and Oscar was very professional and friendly. I would recommend this place and would come here again to get our Jeep fixed!

I had been doing research on a suitable vehicle for my family for a few months. My research directed me to a 2013 Dodge Journey. I searched online for the right vehicle, with the options that I wanted and for the lowest price.
My search brought me to 495 Chrysler Jeep Dodge, where I met Salesman Shawn and his brother the Finance Manager Shah (may be spelled wrong, sorry). I told them what vehicle I wanted, what I wanted for a trade-​in price for my current vehicle and where I wanted my payment to be at or below. As in all car buying, let the negotiating begin. Now having done so much research, knowing the current month’s rebates and what I SHOULD expect to pay, I was armed and ready. We weren’t able to agree on a price at first, but I’d have been shocked if we did. I walked away, but told them I’d be in touch. I was not in a hurry to buy a car, but didn’t want to wait too long. I wanted to buy a car, but didn’t need to.
Almost a week went buy and more research on my part to see how I cold make this deal happen. The Finance Manager called me and asked what they could do to get me in to the vehicle I had chosen. I reiterated my terms and he said we weren’t far off, but he didn’t think it could be done for my price. He said he’d do some researching on his own and get back to me. A couple days went by and Shawn the salesman and brother of Shah called me. I gave him my «Drop Dead» price I was willing to pay and told him I’d be up the next day to sign the papers if he could do it. He called me back a few hours later and said we had a deal and for slightly less than the «Drop Dead» numbers I had given him as well as at a lower finance rate. These guys went the distance for me and came up big. Now there was just one problem. The car with the options I wanted was no longer available in the color I wanted at their dealership. Shawn asked me if I had to have it in the color I wanted and I said «Yes, please find me one». He said he’d start looking and get right back to me.
Not 10 minutes had passed and Shawn was calling me back. He found the car with the options and in the color I wanted, but it was in another state. If I gave him the word, he would start the process of bringing it to MA. I said to do it and 3 days later, I was driving my new Dodge Journey off of the 495 CJR lot and couldn’t have been happier. I found out after the fact that another family member had also bought a vehicle a few months earlier at 495 CJD and experienced a similarly successful buying experience. I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone. Thank you Shawn and Shah.

For the last few years I have been going to 495 CJD to get work on a lemon I purchased from Quirk Volkswagen in Braintree MA because the service and sales teams at Quirk Volkswagen 20 Granite Street Braintree Massachusetts were TERRIBLE
The service at 495 has always been great. Their technicians are personable and extremely helpful.
Last November I bought a used Grand Cherokee from 495 and it was the best experience I have had purchasing a car. ALL the sales staff were personable, they gave me a great deal and great financing.
Just recently I punctured a tire and had to get it fixed. Again, the service was great AND inexpensive. 495 CJD is not the closest dealership to me but the quality of their service is well worth the drive.
I have had experience with both 495’s sales and service teams and I have not been disappointed by either. 495 CJD is by far one of the best dealerships in the Boston area. I know it sounds melodramatic but it is nice to know that there are establishments that don’t betray the trust you give them…

Purchased a Jeep GC in Feb 2012. Very painless purchasing experience. Got a great price & a good deal on my trade. They let us go solo on a test drive and after the purchase they let us leave with the Jeep even though we hadn’t done the paperwork yet. The GM just said we trust you and winked «we know where you live if we have to come get the car back». Service dept is great too.

I was shopping around for quotes on new and used vehicles. Trying to get out my 2006 dodge dakota, I was getting quotes and deals from different dealerships. I stumbled upon 495’s website and put a request in for a vehicle I saw online. Phil the Sales Manager called me minutes later. I explained to him what I was looking for, how other dealerships were treating me, and answered a few of his questions he had for me. The next day I arrived at 495 to speak to Phil. I was going to show him quotes I had gotten from two other dealerships but he straight out told me «Those quotes aren’t worth looking at, Ill show you what a real deal is.» He handed me off to James, one of the salesmen. James was extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and energetic. I decided I like a brand new 2012 Ram Tradesman. He let Phil know and I let both of them know where I wanted my payments to be at monthly. They then talked to finance department. The finance guy was an older gentlemen, very personable, and very friendly. After working the numbers and finding the best deal for me, they had me sold. The next day I was riding in a brand new Dodge RAM. My mother is now working with them to find herself a Jeep Patriot. After my experience with 495 CJD I can honestly say, there is no dealership like this one around elsewhere; at least not in the New England area. They don’t pressure you into anything. They do not hound you about money up front or try to screw you with a trade in. I left a very satisfied and loyal customer. The staff is very friendly and they understand the economy isnt doing well right now and we all dont have four grand to drop on a vehicle like its nothing. I hope to have my RAM for years to come. Word of advice; When you start looking for a new vehicle, don’t «Shop any dealership last» and don’t buy into another dealerships «Smart Price», save yourself some time, money, and stress, and go straight to 495 Chrysler Jeep Dodge, you will not regret it.

I love the service department here. Professional, friendly, family friendly waiting area, no more sleazy, waiting areas. I get my oil changed more frequently now because i am in and out quickly and treated well.

I should first state that I purchased my 2010 Jeep Liberty Sport from a different dealership.
Out of the blue a few days ago, my air vents just stopped working. I don’t know what happened! I was so pissed because summer is here and I am not one to enjoy burning inside a hot car. I called them up and whomever picked up the phone «kinda» had an attitude problem but I don’t mind. I can dish it as well as I can take it.
I arrived and they told me to pull it into the garage, I was greeted by the nicest fellow by the name of Jason Kulins. Stand up guy, great personality and is one of the main reasons this place is getting 5 stars. What was supposed to take an hour only took about 30 minutes.
After 30 minutes, Jason came out and played it off like my car was broken and couldn’t even start. He asked if I had a ride back home and I was like WTF! He starts laughing and saying he was joking, I ALMOST HAD A HEART ATTACK! But needless to say, I can appreciate a good laugh and he got me good.
Anyways, I am not rating this place in terms of purchasing a car, I am solely rating them on their maintenance/​customer service. Five stars and I definitely will be coming here again if I need servicing of any kind.

I used the car service shop. They definitely know how to fix your car. I’ve been there several times now and each time the problem has gotten fixed. The fees are the same as any other dealership autoshop (as opposed to lucky-joe’s local shop). I think that these guys do try to save some money for you by checking to see if you have a warranty or offering used parts when applicable. I only rated them «okay» because they aren’t the most personable. They can come off as being rude and short with you, but unfortunately this is typical for the industry. I feel that the cashier at the food store is friendlier then this lot of employees. I’m not asking for the world, but a «hello» and a «thank you» likely wouldn’t kill them. Perhaps if they smiled it may — I really think a smile would kill them. I’ve tried the «kill them with kindness» to no effect… still they act like life is horrible and they hate their jobs.
Conclusion: If you can get over their level of abrasiveness and, at times, extreme rudeness then your car will be fixed in a decent time frame. I would go there again for two reasons: Distance from my home and They do fix my car… even if they are completely and utterly rude the entire time.
