For 100 years we have provided the best quality meats to the Greater Lowell area! The Doyle Family’s Butcher legacy began in 1913. Morrill Doyle opened up a meat market on Moody Street, in Lowell, Massachusetts.

We are the oldest retail butcher stop in New England, and thats because we provide the best customer service and quality products you can find. We take pride in not adding any preservatives or chemicals to our all natural ready to cook meals. We have the highest quality organic local grass fed and grass finished beef from Hardwick Farms.

We are a fourth generation family business. Today, two of Morrill’s great-​grandchildren own and operate Alpine Butcher. We offer: individualized customer care; specialty cuts of meat; in-​house food and sandwiches, and a great selection of fine wines & beers.
