This place is corrupt and sexist. Do not go here for an inspection or anything else. I took my car in to get an inspection and they failed it. I had a bad tire and got it fixed (I went somewhere else to do that since I thought they were price gouging me). I had my boyfriend being the car back and they tried to fail my car on windshield wipers I bought LAST WEEK. Seriously? They were just mad that we didn’t buy their overpriced tires. After considerable arguing, he said he was going to call the police, and then they were very quick to give him the pass sticker, which should not have been a problem in the first place. Not ok. Don’t walk. Run away from here.

I go here every year to have my inspection sticker done on both my vehicles. They are very friendly I dealt with Peter he was the only person in the office that spoke English but they were all nice even with the language barrier. I will continue to go here for my stickers they make it very easy.

Showed up 10 mins before close for an inspection. They took me right in. Even though my car failed they were very helpful and knowledgable on what to do to fix the issues and get it to pass next time. Their honesty will keep me coming back. No complaints here.

My family has been coming here for over 20 years for various jobs. They always do a good job. I usually come for inspections, waits probably 25 – 45 minutes depending on the wait but they make it quick. Thumbs up

Not honest or trustable place!
I went to this place for a snow tire balancing and mouting (with tires already on rim) because of all the good reviews on Unilocal.The guy overphone told me it was $ 60 for all tires, which was a reasonable price. So I agreed and made an appointment. But the next day when I got there, the lady told me it was $ 100! No matter what I say to her, she just won’t back down with the price. I feel being cheated since the dealer only quoted me $ 70. I did it anyway since I was in a hurry as the snow was coming. When the work was done, they didn’t even give me a receipt proving the service. I’ll never ever go to this place again.

A friend of mine referred me to CP&T years ago and before moving to New Hampshire, it was the only place I would ever bring my car to. The guys there are incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely honest for a change. It used to be a running joke growing up that I had the worst luck with cars — when I first went to CP&T years ago, I had brought my car to two other places for an estimate on some sort of valve that needed to be replaced (one place in Nashua and another in Tewksbury I believe) — these guys went above and beyond to get to the root of the problem which was something «associated» (it’s been a while) to the valve and not the valve itself (saving me $$$ big time!). I guess it was some kind of part or unit that you didn’t have to replace entirely but instead just one component of it — the other part was 100% fine. The other guys were pretty much trying to make a buck off of me. He didn’t bad-​mouth the other places at all and didn’t even imply that was what they were trying to do (even though it was obvious to me after researching online it was a common thing some mechanics do)… Instead, he was just very thorough in explaining to me what was actually going on with it and my options. I’m not very good with cars at all and they brought me in to show me and explain it to me in a way that made sense (even drawing a diagram for me on a notepad haha). In the office, he even took the time to call three different part vendors to find the part that wasn’t just available but also reasonably priced. It was just really cool that he kept me involved in the process, didn’t try to rush me in any way, and was really overall «into» what he was doing — it’s a breath of fresh air finding people that are passionate about what they do. I felt like I was in really good hands here. The friends I have referred to them now even rave about them. I really highly recommend these guys!

Always go here to get my regular oil changes and yearly inspections. Very quick and convenient. In and out before you know it. Service is well priced. Location is very convenient.

Ive been going here to cp&t for a couple years now, and im satisfied everytime. They work hard to exceed customers needs and expectations. Ive mainly dealt with joe, him and his crew are amazing! Got an oil change yesterday and replaced my rear tires today. The tech got it done in a good amount of time and their overall quality is top notch. Cant beat the prices and dedication this place gives! I recommend this place to anybody for anything they need. Great place they are my #1 go-​to repair shop. Thank you guys

This is by far the best mechanics I have ever dealt with. I love it how they always exceed my expectations in how much lower the repair costs are and how fast they fix the issue. I had an oil leak and they fixed it right away for just $ 10. Any other mechanic would for sure have run the tap up somehow. This is why I just go to these guys with any car trouble, they are honest all the time.

Had my differential fluid changed for my nissan rogue… service was prompt, professional, and they didn’t try to get me to buy anything extra unlike the jiffy lube down the street ! They are knowledgeable, friendly, and on point about how long things take. Definitely give this place a try bc I doubt you’ll be disappointed.

Had my oil changed today. Excellent service, helpful and friendly staff, reasonably price too. They’re knowledgeable on what your car needs and they make suggestions about what should be done to your car, but they don’t force any services on you (which is awesome for those of us who aren’t car experts). They also seem to be honest people and wouldn’t scam you for an extra buck. Will be a regular client from now on! :)

Hands down the best place in Lowell to get your car repaired and for the right price. If you ever get a flat tire you guys should come here patch it up, really cheap! I just had my rear rotors and brake pads replaced in under 2 hours. Talk to Joe and Peter, they are very knowledgeable about cars and know what needs to be fixed! Excellent service for a cheap price too!

Bought a car about a month ago. Had a half hour before class to get it inspected after registering it. I was in and out in fifteen minutes! Definitely quick, thorough, and a good place for an inspection if you need a place close to campus.

C P & T Auto is doing right! Inspection stickers, cool front desk guy named Joe. Their reputation precedes them. I refer them as often and as I can. I should earn some commission! I kid. Very exceptional family owned auto repair business.

Always my choice for either a simple oil change or an inspection sticker as well as repairs. Friendly staff, Joe is nice and tells you accurately when your car will be ready. For a hassle free, convenient location in Lowell I definitely recommended them!
