Great burgers and amazing wings. There’s no seating inside but there’s a little outdoor covered garden area with a few tables. The fries appear to be homemade. The BBQ sauce on the wings is fantastic!

This place is as described by all the other reviews. Casual, outdoor seating, amazing food. The quarter rack meal is what we got both times. After all, it was so good it was hard to try anything else. The ribs were juicy and fresh, delicious, fall off the bone with killer sauce. The slaw wasn’t my favorite as I prefer sweet slaw. The fries were okay but the ribs made up for everything. Oh, the baked beans were delicious. The only thing I would change is a little more sauce (not much though) and some kind of bread or roll with the ribs. Comes with a nice dill pickle spear (second time they left it out by accident and we didn’t have any at home :-(
Love this place. Staff and cook were really friendly as was that sweet ol dog. Will keep going back.

Whenever we go to the coast from Tahoe, we’ll bypass a faster and prettier route just so we can stop here for lunch. Some of the best burgers and fries I’ve ever had. Truly.

Best burger around by far! We used to come here when we lived in Lake County and now we still drive 90 mins just for the burger! And to pet the dog and hang out :) I haven’t tried the BBQ but the meat on the burger is ground fresh and never frozen. Highly recommended!!!

Great tri-​tip and some of the best french fries I’ve ever had. Very friendly staff and pretty quick service for a freshly cooked meal.

Most awesome chicken sandwich I ever had this will now be a regular stop when traveling through this place smells so good. The side dishes could use some help though. But well worth the stop good sized portions.

I’m trying to like this place and patronize this establishment… I’ve eaten here 3 times. The burgers are fresh, not frozen hamburger meat which is a big reason I came in the first place. That’s about it, though, for me.
I always need to add at least some salt and they «DON’T HAVE IT» to add. So I have to wait until I get back home, 15 miles away. I wanted so bad to be a regular but…

Plus, he keeps 1 – 2 large dogs INSIDE the tiny little space. EEEK!

Just a little road-​side place you will miss if you don’t purposely drive there. However, it is AMAZING! The have an outside smoker that just blows that smoky smell everywhere… it makes you want to order everything on the menu. My husband and I vacation in Clearlake often and he loves to fish for bass. Even though we stayed in Cleaklake Oaks, we drove all the way to Lower Lake just to have this BBQ experience. The folks are a nice family who run this place and are friendly and will gladly accommodate your reasonable request. You HAVE TO try it!

The pork ribs are nothing short of meat candy! At least that’s with the mild sauce. The volcano sauce may be a different story however. The meat was fall off the bone tender and juicy — they really couldn’t have been any better. Trust me I’m an Evert and Jones expat from Oakland I know my ribs. Got the blueberry cobbler but it will have to wait until tomorrow. I’ll bet it’s great too!

Small hole in the wall place. Order their Thursday special. It was delicious cooked well and had flavor. First time stopping in and will visit them again.

Been here probably a dozen times. Burgers are fresh, delicious and huge. One of LC’s best burgers. Fries and ribs are pretty good too.
Friendly service and the owners dog who hangs around outside is friendly too and not at all in anyone’s way that I’ve ever seen. Prices may be a bit on the high side but everything is fresh and it’s well worth the extra little bit.
It’s a tiny place with no indoor seating, plenty of outdoor tables though.
The only complaint I have is that we’ve been by a few times and it’s been closed during their posted open hours/​days. We’ve even sat in the parking lot eating about 30 mins before their posted closing and watched several people walk up to a locked door, scratch their heads and walk away. Bad for biz.
So unless your passing by, maybe call first to be sure he’s open.

This Lil restaurant is pretty good. I had the bison burger an yes it was pretty good… my husband had the regular burger said it was very good. Very small. building an only outdoor eating kind of a Lil wait buy well worth it… high recommend

This place has excellent burgers and awesome bbq, the pulled pork sandwich is to die for! The reason for one less star is the fries. The fries used to be amazing perfect size fresh cut with sea salt, but today I was disappointed the fries were like a fast food experiment gone awry. They are huge and were very undercooked. Please bring back the smaller sized fries

This place has the best BBQ in the lake as far as I’m concerned, the only issue I see is that the cook in the back sometimes looks a little overwhelmed and can be a little rude if you ask him a question, but other than that great food.

Was looking for a place to have with my hubs cause we were on our way to the redwood national park. Unilocaled and found this Gem of a spot to pull over and have lunch here.
This place smell amazing pulling up. The menu has a good selection here… Walked in with my hubs to order some lunch and the owner greeted us politely with a smile and was there to help us. He was so polite and helpful. Explained everything he had and how it was made and what he was famous for. Even gave us a sample of his awesome delicious cherry cobbler.
Hubs order the meat lovers burger with pulled pork and bacon topped on a burgers its pastrami & cheddar. I order the whatever burger ½lb burger patties topped with lettuce tomato mayo onions bacon and cheese. Home cut fried with both and garlic. Portions were more than generous, very filling. I’m so glad that i Unilocaled this place and found this hidden gem in this little town.

Yum! We came upon this place while on a trip and thought we would give it a try. Very good burgers, thick and fresh. The buns were fresh and hot. Fries fresh and hand cut. If we are ever passing through again will be sure to stop again.

This place is awesome. I wish I could have discovered it earlier. I had the Gourmet Burger and my Hu stand had the pulled pork sandwhich. We always split halfies and I’m glad we did. We couldn’t pick a favorite because they were both great!!! Also I liked their outdoor seating. Very serene and a well taken care of garden.

These burgers are to DIE for. I loved them from the first bite aka ORGASM i actually shortly after CALLED THE PLACE to tell them how bangin his burgers were! Best place in the whole county ive TRIED so far.
Only con? Im not in love with their sides. But those burgers morrrrre than make up for it, i love the way he seasons the patties.

Wow, I haven’t had this great of BBQ unless its my own! Seriously.
I ordered the ¼ rack and 2 side meal and was hard pressed to eat it. The portions are generous, ribs fell off the bone (and as we all know that shows some love in preparation) and was served hot.
I enjoyed mine immensely.
My lady ordered a BBQ burger and said that the only way it could be better is to add bacon. The fries were fresh cut and fried but tasted like they had a cold water wash to take out a lot of the bitter starch taste (unlike In N Out burger)
I highly recommend this place if your in the area or take a little trip to enjoy great BBQ.

Super hot weekend doing manual labor with my other half and nephew. Hot, hungry and hoping it’s awesome. Order two trip tip with fries and a famous chicken with coleslaw. It was Awesome! Only complaint from the guys was not enough ketchup for fries but now I know. Thank you Danny and his sweet daughter. Hope you get to Disneyland :)
