Fancy Paws is a Full Service dog grooming shop.

We also have self wash stations and retail products.

Your dog will receive the 5 star treatment while in our shop.

We do hand fluffing (no cage drying) and Hand scissoring.

We use a variety of ALL NATURAL shampoos made by EZ GROOM.

Regular baths, Special scented baths, Medicated baths, Hypoallergenic baths, Flea & tick baths, Special massage baths (great for the older dog), de-​skunk baths and more!

We clean ears, eyes, express anal glands, dremel nails (if the dog will allow, if not we can hand clip nails) While at Fancy Paws your pet can take a break and go potty, get a drink of water and rest if they want or need to.

We cater to all breeds ex small to ex-​large. Young pups to the elderly.

We also train dogs to enjoy being brushed and handled by a groomer.

We offer many single services as well, teeth brushing, nails, anal glands, brush out & ears cleaned.

We want your pet to be comfortable and enjoy his/​her time at the «spa»

History

Established in 2007.

Fancy Paws Pet Grooming was purchased by Helen from Carol Farria while it was Nice Grooming in 2007. Helen worked with Carol for a year or more in training and then eventually purchased the business from Carol. The business had a name change in 2007. Carol continued to work with Helen until her move to Oregon. I, Dena Isaacs, had the pleasure of working with Carol and Helen during this time when help was needed. I have been good friends with Helen for more than 20yrs. When Helens health started to take a turn, I was there to help in the shop and to learn how to groom. I acquired the business from Helen in 2012 after being in training with Helen for more than a year. I am thankful to my friend Helen and Carol for teaching me what I know.

Although I am relatively new to dog grooming, I am no stranger to grooming in general. I have shown and raised all species of livestock, horses, and Border Collie dogs for trial and ranch work.

Business Owner

Hello, I am Dena Isaacs and I am the proud owner of Fancy Paws Pet Grooming. I am also the proud wife and mother to 3 wonderful children. Timothy who is 25 yrs old and in the US Navy and stationed in Virginia. My one and only daughter Jordan is 22 yrs old and lives in Santa Rosa going to school at SRJC and working for a grooming shop in Petaluma. My youngest child is William. He is 18yrs old and attends Lower Lake High school. He plays varsity sports, such as football, wrestling and baseball. He also does a lot of volunteer work in our community.

I grew up in Sonoma CA. I attended Sonoma Valley High School where I was a member of Sonoma FFA. I was also a member of Kenwood 4H. My family raised commercial cattle and registered Quarter Horses for many years. I took Veterinary Science for 4 years with Dr. John Corbett, Dr. John Holden. During high school I raised Horned Herford Cattle, Dorsett sheep, Pollen China hogs, and showed a Quarter horse in local, state and national competitions
