Specialties
The Willows Inn features authentic farm-to-table fine dining, amid spectacular marine views of the Straits of Georgia. We have 10 rooms for overnight accommodation, a peaceful and serene natural setting, and warmly welcoming public space.
History
Established in 1910.
The Willows Inn has been accommodating vacationers for 100 years. Riley Starks and Judy Olsen are the latest in the short list of owners who carry on the tradition of farm to table dining in a spectacular setting. Visitors have been enjoying our beautiful beach, and gorgeous sunsets, for a century. Our food has been elevated with the arrival of Chef Blaine Wetzel, who comes to us from Noma, in Copenhagen, voted the best restaurant in the world in May, 2010.
Meet the Business Owner
Riley S.
Business Owner
Riley has been a commercial fisherman all of his adult life, only coming to the hospitality business in 2001. A common thread throughout all of his endeavors has been the appreciation of absolutely fresh and flavorful ingredients, which he continues to supply to the restaurant at the Willows Inn. Beginning with Nettles Farm in 1992, and the reefnet salmon fishery the same year, Riley has tried to remain true to the idea that flavor and nutrition can go hand in hand, and that food that is good for you, tastes best. Riley continues to fish commercially in the Lummi Island Reefnet fishery, and guides the farm as well.
