Don’t let the exterior fool you, this is a delightful place and well worth all the other glowing reviews here. Service is warm, personable and attentive. The food is exceptionally fresh and prepared to order. We drove right past the first night because the sign wasn’t lit. We were determined to find it the next night and even though the sign was unlit again we found it. Glad we did. The humus plate, the surf kabob and the desert kabobs were all delicious! We’re looking forward to trying their new place in Provincetown, MA this summer.

Simply put… awesome! My girlfriend and I stopped in on a Tuesday to try it out and we were very impressed. We had the simosas for an appetizer. It’s a fried dough pocket with potatoes and peas that was done just right. We then had the specials which were stewed lamb over rice and I had the goat over rice. Everything was done right and absolutely delicious. We then had the inside out cannoli for dessert. Service was spot on, the owner is an absolute delight to speak with. She made a wine recommendation that proved to be just right for what we ate. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone that wants original and authentic regional cuisine from Pakistan, India with a fusion of Latin America. I read some previous reviews stating that lamb and goat dishes were somewhat expensive. I would have to say to those people… check out what FRESH lamb and goat costs before stating such. Nothing is frozen here, everything made to order and absolutely tasty.

We were passing by and decided to get a take out. My husband ordered online. When arrived the $$ was different from the online quote. He questioned the person at the counter and was told online check out is wrong. Came home, opened the bag — part of order is missing. Wheat naan is reduced to dust inside the foil packet and not eatable. I called the place immediately. The person in charge made a weak effort to remediate the situation by offering to deliver the missing part of the order. Never even mentioned refund. We live 30 minutes away, so the best they could do is apologize. It certainly did not improve my evening. My husband had his unimpressive dinner plate. I ended up hungry and angry(had to give myself time before writing this review, did not want to write anything being that upset). To summarize: mediocre overpriced food, strange approach to customer service. I am not bringing my business back there.

My only regret is that I didnt stop here sooner. I live in the area and have driven by a hundred times. SUPER fresh! Great presentation. Clean, comfy dining area. We had two appetizers-the fried cauliflower and eggplant fries which were both delicious and had a really cute presentation and delicious sauce. We had the lamb kebab dinner and fresh falafel roll up. Love their tzatziki !! We’ll be coming back again real soon to try more things on the menu!

Great price and great food a must… totally recommend! Quality food, owner was great. Great infusion of Indian, Spanish cultural food. Beer and wine, but need more variety of juice to compliment food.

This place is on the money! Food is good. A little pricey, but very tasty. The building is quite unassuming. I almost drove away… But then I went inside and found it to be very nicely furnished, plus the football game was on! If I lived in the area this would be a regular stop.

Kabob-e-costly! Was not impressed for how much I paid. I order the lamb kabobs. For $ 12, I thought I would have a decent sized meal, but it left me disappointed. The veggies were shriveled, small, and sparse. The kabobs themselves we’re only about 6 inches long. Only 3 small pieces of lamb on each kabob. I’ve had better kabobs for less cost and more quantity at other establishments. Will not be returning and do not recommend.

Great locally owned business with delicious, fresh food and super friendly and attentive owners that genuinely care about your experience. I live ~50km away, so I can’t frequent this place, but I absolutely plan on stopping back in if I’m in the area again!

I LOVE the food here. It’s delicious. I’m not a fan of the high tables, though– there is not a single table in here that is wheelchair accessible. All of the tables are the really high pub-style– I hate when a place does not consider accessibility when designing a restaurant. But the good is great, and the take-out is always ready when they say!

We were greeted by the very friendly owner and treated with 5-star service. When we asked about vegetarian options, the owner mentioned a couple of great-sounding options. You could tell she knew her stuff and sounded ready to make us pretty much anything we wanted. A sign of a true chef. The food was delicious. So glad we checked the Unilocal reviews, the location from the outside has a vibe that doesn’t inspire a whole lot of confidence. We will be back, and spreading the word.

Last things first: I simply did not want my meal to end. It was that good! Friendly people work there and let you know it right when you walk in the door. The service was attentive but not cloying. Some decent beer selections(dear owners: get some craft brews in there!). We started with the samosas – which were fantastic and came with an incredible sauce(similar to a spicy ginger-soy sauce); my wife and I loved them! Wife got a chicken kabob and I got the chicken burger kabob; many others were calling to me: steak, lamb, scallop, etc. Anyone that says the portions are small or that the prices are high is crazy. IGNORE those comments. The kabobs start at $ 7 and range up to $ 17 for XL scallops. And we had PLENTY to eat. For $ 4 extra your meal comes with fresh naan and your choice of several delicious rice dishes. Well worth the upgrade! The naan is either made fresh on the premises or bought very locally. It was brushed and lightly charred. Wonderful. Everything at the restaurant is done with care and subtlety. Every flavor is distinct, subtle and harmonious. Our meals came with four great sauces: tzatziki, bbq, cilantro chutney(amazing) and the One Night Stand sauce(my FAVORITE). I ate there tonight and can’t wait to go back again. It’s the kind of place that makes you want to bring friends back – soon! Go. Eat. Tell others!

I definitely love this place. The food is fresh and the taste of the meat is amazing. I went for the first time last week and went back the day after. The service and attention is excellent! Finally a place I can enjoy real flavor in food. The place is clean, small, but worth it!

Not was I was expecting. The inside is well decorated, dotted with a handful of marble hightops. The staff was incredibly warm and welcoming, from the woman cooking, to the girl taking my order, to the jovial gentleman, Mark, who brought me some fresh Naan while I was waiting for my food. One complaint: for what I ordered, it was awfully pricey. The lamb kabobs were 12 dollars, an extra 4 for a side and some naan. 18 bucks for a takeout dinner is a little steep for me, though there may be more economical choices. I’ll be back to find out.

You can’t judge a book by its cover. Don’t see a man by his cloth. And, do not decide to turn around when you get to the parking lot. We almost did. From the outside, Kabob-e-licious looks like one of the worst dining experiences you could imagine. But, it is a delightful and flavorful treat that is worth going out of your way for. The restaurant describes itself as a Persian-Indian-Pakistani-South Asian-Latino restaurant. I would say that it was influenced by all. The tastes are incredible and everything is well prepared. The combinations worked perfectly, which is a testament to the owner-chef, who was there the entire time. We started with the eggplant fries, which were crisp and not oily. The eggplant flavor came through, even with the spicy mayo on the side. Soon, the delightful Mediterranean salad joined. It has amazing chunks of olives and peppers and chick peas and feta, etc. It was enough for two people! But, a special place is in my heart for the homemade hummos with available gluten-free naan. If you have never tried hummos with naan, do so. It is a perfect match. My favorite entrée was the Swordfish kabob. Do not imagine small pieces of swordfish on a stick with bits of cheap vegetables. This was a solid four ounce piece of swordfish cooked to perfection — on a stick for good measure. This is a clear example of how they do it right. I had a hard time deciding if this was a 4-star or 5-star restaurant. It is clearly 5-star in food quality and in friendly service. But, it is very informal in style, there are few chairs(and even fewer that are uncomfortable) with relatively small tables. And, of course, you have to get past the parking lot. But, at the end of the day, substance wins. Go and enjoy the food.

This place is great! The food was delicious and service friendly and welcoming. We had falafel sandwich with homemade naan and a seafood kebab with jasmine rice. Everything was great. They serve beer and wine which was a nice surprise. Eat here or call for take out.

I read all the previous raving reviews and had to try it. My wife and I walked in around 5pm and were pleasantly greeted by Mark & Sema… The owners, waiters & cooks. Told them we were first timers and we got an incredible tour of the menu… They gave us tastes of all the flavors. Then to the meal. A veggie knot for the app. A mix of cauliflower, eggplant, cabbage & a chickpea coating deep fried. Wow! I had the lamb kabobs for my entrée and Sheryl had a seafood melody with salmon, swordfish, scallop & shrimp. Incredible flavors & textures. To finish we had a inside out cannoli — holy cannoli! That was awesome. This will certainly be a frequent stop!

The boyfriend and I were pretty late to returning to the loft we rented for a weekend getaway and so we needed a place to eat along the way. Unilocal told us this spot was open until 11 and it had good reviews so we headed over. It wasn’t open until 11, the time had just not yet been updated and they were having a private party and a man popped out to let us know. We asked what else was nearby and he said«are you really hungry?» and then popped in and popped back out and said come on in. We protested that we were fine if they were closed but he said they were there and they had food so… In we came and the private party group cheered. We were immediately brought beverages and some naan and sauce samples to quench our hunger as we decided what we wanted on the menu. We settled for the chickenburger spice kebab(basically chicken adana) and the lamb kebab with garlic naan and biryani rice and fried cauliflower to start. The cauliflower was akin to gobi manchurian but without the sweet and sour sauce. The batter was well flavored and it was yummy. The kebabs were each amazing. I’m not terribly fond of lamb, in general, but this was very well done(and fortunately Mike likes to share). Also, at some point we were brought this green chili chicken dish that’s going on the menu soon as an appetizer to try and it was amazing as well. Also, I tried the hot sauce and the HOTTER sauce and they were both very good and the hottest sauce was indeed quite fiery. Also, the menu itself is this cultural haven. It’s not entirely Middle Eastern. It’s not Indian. It’s not European or American. But it brilliantly fuses all of these elements and flavors together to provide a unique dining experience. ALSO… I’m saying also a lot. Throughout the meal the owner and her husband(who was who let us in and who was helping out) came over and talked to us about our weekend and their business and and… We felt so welcome that either they are the nicest folks on earth, or they were winning us over and fattening us up to eat us later. They did let us leave though, so option A seems likely. We were invited to pop back on our way home but our route did not take us in that direction. We live an hour away, but we will certainly find a reason to go back. It was that good. The place itself is half take out counter and half chic bistro. There are very few tables and this is sad, because I imagine a lot of people will want to eat here. Hopefully, they thrive and are able to upgrade to a larger space sooner than later, but, either way, as long as there is a seat for us when we come(during regular business hours from now on), we will be happy.

I loved this dining establishment run and operated by a sister/brother team. When we arrived around 1:00pm on a Friday, the parking lot was quite full, a good sign for a relatively new restaurant. Once we entered, we realized that most of the foot traffic must be for carryout as there are only a handful of tables in a small space, but what a lovely space it is with a lot of light coming in from the windows and very nice tables and chairs selected to fill the space with decorative candle holders on each table. We were greeted warmly by the sister/brother duo and poured over the menu for our selections. They kindly answered any questions we had about sauces and kabobs and offered suggestions to us, as first time visitors. I ordered the lamb kabobs which came with 2 generous skewers of lamb, red and green peppers and onions. I ordered the yogurt sauce and they offered to bring the green chutney sauce, as well. I also ordered the briyani rice which was only offered on Fri/Sat. It was delicious but I wish I had known it was big enough for 2 as I couldn’t finish it and then felt guilty! The meal was great — freshly prepared and so flavorful. I actually wish they offered ½ size portions as one skewer and rice would have been plenty for lunch time. Even though it ended up being pricey for the two of us for lunch(around 40.00 with tip), I still want to come back. It was just that good with fresh ingredients and local fare. I definitely want to support our local merchants and this is a definite plus in the area.
