Great new manager who is really turning things around. He is cleaning the place up, better training staff, improving quality if food and really focused on keeping it a great local spot for families and friends to enjoy great food and drinks. Stop by and say hi to Cory. He always has a smile on his face and enjoys making his customers smile and laugh.

This place is great! The employees are wonderful as very accommodating. And of course the coffee and bagels are excellent! Will definitely be returning sometime I am on the area again.

(12/01/2012) Good basic bagels for a chain. Stopped in for a quick bite, had to try the Asiago Bagel Dog. Dough is chewy(like a bagel), a little too much so for wrapping around a dog, significant amount of slippage; the wrapper is also pretty doughy(as in underdone) right next to the dog. Would probably just stick to the standard bagel preps next time(should’ve gotten the Nova Lox). Was there during the off-peak times, service was fine(they’re kids working in a fast food joint for minimum wage, cut them some slack).

My son liked his bagel! :) They have a good variety of lunch choices, but the other bagel places around have more selection of bagel flavors… there are so many choices in Lutherville now…

I stopped going here and same with my coworkers. Everytime we go, the food is good but the service is horrid. It’s like I am putting the employees out because I ordered food. Never once had a nice person wait on me.

I have been coming to the Lutherville location since they opened. They have great bagel sandwiches. I recommend the turkey sausage, egg and cheese or onion and cream cheese bagels. They have a nice variety of coffees and fountain drinks . Yes, it will be crowded(it’s a popular spot. These are the places that stay open), and you might have to chat with a friendly local and the staff might know your name and remember your favorite menu item –I don’t know where am I going with this. Oh yea, I like Einstein bagels. Bring the kids, bring a friend or just bring a good book. I will see you there.

I stopped in on Sunday morning to get a few bagels for the gang as well as one for the road. If you are getting bagels to go, you can up this by one maybe two stars. At the end of the day this is your best option. Get the Shmear(not made onsite) get a dozen bagels(not really that hard to mess up) and call it a day. If you are getting something from the staff, enjoy the review… «The Good» — This place has some very decent bagels for a chain. The Asiago Cheese Bagel with Veggie Shmear is a great combo. But, read below. — They used to have, was not offered it this time, a frequent Dozen Bagel Buyer Card, that eventually gave you a free dozen. — When you buy a dozen they will cut them for you there, there is a thin strip at one end(of a circle… I know I know. Work with me, it beats saying the bottom) that keeps the top with the bottom but the connection is small enough to break easily. «The Meh» — The set up of the store is confusing. The ordering counter is waaay at the back on the right. Then, you walk up past all of the potential impulse buys until you reach the register. Then a small crowd gathers at the front… the only problem with that is this. The place where people gather is where the door is, so it makes it difficult to even get in the door. Store Design really dropped the ball on this one… nice job boys and girls. — The sandwiches used to be good when they were fresh. Now, everything is steamed and they fell into the processed category which is really sad. «The Bad» — This location was either having a shortage on the Shmear by putting the thinnest amount possible that was supposed to support two fantastic bagel pieces. It was really noticeably lacking in the Shmear category. Next Time I will get it to go and do it myself. Apparently the six people they had behind the counter were not enough to lift the heavy Shmear Spreader to apply a liberal amount… — It hurts to give this place two stars, but sadly they really do not deserve more and two may be generous.

I am a stereotypical book lover. I carry my library card like a badge of honor. I own the Brahms for Booklovers CD. Most of all, I enjoy reading books in sunny cafes. Enter Einstein Bros Bagels. This spot, with its huge windows, bounteous table seating indoors and outdoors, and it’s vast space, is the perfect place for uninterrupted reading and deep contemplation. Say it me now: UMMMM! They have the key components of a book lover spot: coffee, fru-fru bottled drinks, fruit parfait and trying-hard-to-be-cool background music. Where Einstein as a chain shines is the great variety of bagels.(I was sweetly shocked by the emergence of the pumpkin bagel. Yum! Great with plain cream cheese.) It also has serious food.(Unlike Starbucks, which teases the stomach with a sparse sprinkling of dry muffins and sad-looking sandwiches wrapped in cellophane.) The bagel sandwiches are best, especially the tuna. The cooked entrees are a little iffy. The Timonium branch shines with its über friendly staff and fruit cup.(It’s not sloopy like other cups where the fruit is drenched.) I enjoy this spot so much, I am on the fence about whether I should share… You know what, this spot is horrible! Roaches everywhere! Don’t visit!

The fact that the past 3 times I’ve eaten from here it’s been free or almost free makes me like this place more.(If you become a fan on Facebook, you get a free coupon for a bagel and cream cheese). The first time I came I got the pizza bagel thing which I was hoping would just taste like a giant bagel bite, but mostly just tasted like crap. Last week I came and got the spinach florentine bagel with veggie cream cheese which was really good, and a slice of lemon poundcake, also really good. We got a bunch of bagels for my coworkers birthday this morning, and the bagels I tried(asiago cheese, cinnamon and sugar) and the cream cheese(veggie, plain, honey almond) were, again, all really good. So – stick to the simple bagel and cream cheese, definitely skip the pizza, and maybe try the bagel sandwiches, haven’t tried those yet but they look pretty good.
