Why did I find myself at an Army Navy store? I’m far from a military person but I certainly respect everyone who protects their country by putting on the uniform. Thank you for your service! Well, here is the story. I was driving down the road the other day, minding my own business, and some guy in a pos buick almost slammed in to my favorite ride. I honked to catch his attention and the impending accident was averted. Then, this idiot started following me, gesticulating wildly, and coming way too close. I was thinking… There is no freaking way I’m letting this idiot follow me home so I pulled right over, stopped, and said«What is your problem?» The guy, gold teeth grill and all, likely driving his mom’s car with his slouched-down friend who apparently didn’t want to be there, appeared slightly stunned or perhaps a few brain cells short of a frontal lobe. He exclaimed insightfully«Uh, you honked at me». I said«No shit. I honked at you because you almost hit my car!». This Einstein then repeated«you honked at me». Growing tired of the conversation, I said«Stop following me!». Then, I realized I wasn’t armed. Conveniently for me, he wasn’t either and he quickly drove way. Now, with the preamble out of the way, I can move on to the review part of this story. I decided if this situation comes up again but ends differently, I might need to get medieval so this Army Navy store was the solution! I explained I wanted some proper weapons for scenarios like this and they fixed me right up! Thanks guys. Hopefully, I won’t have to use them but, if I do, I’ll update the review and let y’all know how it worked out!

Doomsday preppers, this is the store for you! But, I’m sure you already knew that. This military surplus store is well stocked, and neatly organized. Their inventory is mostly new military items, but do have some vintage/antique items as well. This is not only a good store for preparing for the apocalypse, but it’s also great for camping, hiking, or just about anything outdoors. There is a good assortment of knives, backpacks, fatigues, cast iron cookware, and much more. From what I gathered, this place specializes in everything paintball. Lots of paintball guns, accessories, and may even have a course(not sure about that last one, you may want to call and ask). Overall, an average military surplus store. The service was friendly, and I didn’t get and weird vibes like how the owners are portrayed on TV/movies. I’d go back if I’m in need of outdoor or military gear.

Now that the overpriced Army Navy store is closed in downtown, I had to search around for a new resource for my purchase of random items I will only occasionally use, or maybe use a few times. As with all Army Navy Stores, this one was overpriced too, which may be why they are all going out of business. The only reason they probably stay in business is, because people like me need a pair of fatigues last minute and don’t want to pay expedited shipping. They have a ton of cool stuff in this store, and if you can get past the price tag, it’s worth just checking out their gear. The nice thing this is, is that the store is orderly and clean, unlike the army navy downtown which was an atrocity to browse. Staff is friendly, but whatever you do DONOT try the balaclava on in the store…
