History

Established in 1998.

Devo Consulting LLC is an international technology consulting firm specializing in custom website development and database applications, including eCommerce, since 1998.

Over the years, our custom solutions have saved our clients millions of dollars in time and efficiency improvements.

In the late 1990s, when handheld devices were still a new technology, Devo Consulting designed, developed and implemented a hand-​held data collector for SQL Server using the Palm III. nce implemented, this process increased the accuracy of payroll processing and hospital billings; saving the company thousands of dollars annually.

By implementing a Content Management System (CMS) in 1998, Devo Consulting became one of the first companies to deliver the tools necessary for clients to control the content of their own website using a web-​based control panel.

Greg Weatherford W.

Business Owner

Greg Weatherford has been the president of Devo Consulting LLC since 1998. Prior to that, Mr Weatherford spent 11 years at United Airlines where he was responsible for GEMIS; a DB2 database application based on an IBM AS/​400. The application was used to track the maintenance activities and costs on all pieces of ground equipment at airport locations worldwide.

Mr Weatherford was responsible for all aspects of the application: Enhancement Planning; Requirements Gathering; Testing; End User Training; and Management Reporting.

Mr Weatherford began database programming in the late 1980’s using DataEase (a DOS-​based relational database). In 1992, Mr Weatherford started using Microsoft Access v1.0 and immediately used it to create an application (FUSION) used by the Customer Service Division of United Airlines to control a $ 4 billion annual budgeting process.
