These 5 star reviews must be from people who work there or are friends. I’d i could give this place a –5 star I would. This so called café lounge is a dump. When you think of a blues bar and lounge or even if a café you think of great atmosphere plush seating perhaps some great artwork or pictures covering the walls of great musicians who have played there. This place has none of this. A couple font shirts are thumb tacked horribly to the wall one only of s musician and the other 2 are some child’s t shirts one of which is hung on the wall with a pants hanger. The drinks are way over priced and the food is atrocious. I understand it’s not a restaurant but if you claim to be a café then your food should have some taste. You can tell everything was frozen and it wasn’t even doctored to have taste. The ketchup tasted tainted as if it was so old it went bad! White Castles next door would have been a better choice to eat at than this dump. A sad excuse being run by people who take no pride in what they do not have a clue how to make a place be even a bar. If it had not been for the band my friends and I came for the sole purpose of seeing we would have never ever walked in this hole in the wall. I’ve been to dive bars that look like 5 star compared to this crap. Avoid avoid avoid!!! Don’t believe the lies of the 5 star reviews you read here

Great food, Great ambiance, Talented musicians and great staff. I’ve been here several times and each time it does not disappoint. There is no place like in Queens or Long island. Its in a great location in Western Long Island close to Queens NY as well. Its a hidden gem. Great for a date or with a group of friends.

Had surprise birthday party for my wife here and everyone had a ball. The band was great and the open mic was a plus. This was my first time here and it was highly recommended. I can definitely see myself becoming a regular here on Friday nights.

Imagine walking into a smoke filled jazz club (without the smoke, of course) dim lights and a really hot band. You are greeted at the door by Mona (Mo) and she says «come on in! You are home». And from that moment on you are treated as such. The staff is SUPER friendly and they want you to have an amazing time. The are constantly asking you if you need anything but not in a pushy way.
Thank you Unilocal!!!I searched JAZZ CLUB nearby and Micky Mo’s came up and had rave reviews. We went to check it out and it was everything the reviewers said it was. Friday night is open mic night and the band starts playing around 9pm. When I tell you that they picked up a Manhattan Jazz club and dropped it off in Lynbrook, I am not exaggerating. This place is the truth!!! We will definitely be regulars here!

Micky Mo’s is Blues, Jazz and Rock and Roll. There’s no place within miles of this place that’s even close. I’ve seen great Blues, amazing Funk, Old School Jazz and great Rock and Roll all live on Friday Night, in Lynbrook and it rocked. MM Is like stepping into a city club where musicians, real musicians show up and play. This place is really a hidden gem. If you want to Have a great night of music, good drinks and some food this is it. You’ll think your in the Village at the hight of the New York music scene. Check this joint out, have few drinks grab some food and spend the night you won’t ever regret it.

Great f. king music! Why doesn’t anybody know about this place?
Update: Besides having some of the best times at open mic with friends listening and performing, the food has gotten really good as well. Cool bartenders and the owners, one who is a talented musician, are great! Come down and check this place out, it’s like Joe C. says, a hidden gem with «real» musicians.

I love this place! Good Music and food! The Jam night is off the chain. Nice looking place too. Great crowd. A great mixture of people. I would give it more stars if I could. You Must check this place out!
