I love this place! They’re so nice and have amazing cupcakes, I heard that the crepes are great too. The cupcakes are priced reasonable and they’re decorated well.

Amazing! From start to finish, Marina was an absolute joy to work with. She is the sweetest more attentive professional I have ever encountered. I am a bit of a control freak, but we made me feel very much at ease and I trusted her every step of the way. She made me a beautiful, girly, makeup themed cake for my 25^th birthday which fed 45 guests. It was beautiful and delicious, highly recommend Sweet Serendipity!

AMAZING JOB! My sister and I brought in a picture we saw on pinterest to be done for our other sister’s bridal shower. They were so accommodating and made the most amazing cupcake looking cake we could have asked for! Everyone was so impressed and couldn’t stop talking about it! Not only did it look great, but tasted great too! I am very pleased.

I am updating my review because after trying the cupcakes, we decided to order a cake for my daughter’s bat mitzvah. Marina did a tasting of several flavors for us and we picked red velvet cake with dulce de leche filling. While going over the cake details and looking at all the delectable goodies in the shop, we saw a posted on the wall where there were options for a sweet table and the prices looked very reasonable, so we decided to go with the sweet table which still included the cake as a centerpiece plus, mini desserts of our choosing and there were so many on the list, we chose 6 kinds of 30 each. The delivery came on time, everything was set up nicely, and it was so delicious! My daughter was really thrilled, and all the guests enjoyed the desserts so much.

Sweet Serendipity is a great sweet tooth spot. We had a chocolate/​banana crêpe and a Belgian waffle. Both items were the right amount of sweet! The customer service was very good! Very welcoming and doesn’t hesitate to make sure everything is ok.

It was my anniversary and my husband purchased a beautiful dozen of cupcakes from Sweet Serendipity.
For starters the cupcakes are amazingly beautiful and has a very nice and appealing image to them. They each are wrapped at the bottom and designed so nicely. Since we had a dozen, I was able to try quite a few flavors. I must say I was not impressed with taste at all.
The frosting is very fluffy and not your average buttercream style frosting. It has more of a light and whipped taste to it. The chocolate cupcakes are just not tasty at all. The cupcake itself without the icing, is non flavorful and dry. I’ve tried the Coffee cupcake, cookie cupcake, coconut cupcake, rainbow cookie cupcake, raspberry cupcake, red velvet cupcake and confetti cupcake. All of them lacked the flavor of what they are supposed to be. For example, my cookie cupcake, did not taste like a cookie nor did my red velvet, taste like red velvet.
I rate this place 2 stars because they can design cupcakes absolutely amazing, but there is definitely no flavor in these at all. It’s almost as if I’m biting into sugar clumps rather than biting into a very moist and tasty cupcake. I think I had so much sugar eating that it made my tummy ache a little. If there is one thing they can fix, is the flavor and frosting of these beautiful cupcakes. I forgot to add that these are very very big cupcakes and cost about $ 3 each.

Sweet little shop for some sweets (kosher too!) very nice people own this place, I would come back again whenever I’m near by. 3 dollar gourmet cupcakes :)

Spent almost a hour and a half on breakfast, while food was good, the service is slow, slower than slow.
Customers walked out the door after waiting 20 – 30 minutes because they cannot handle the orders, which was not much at all.
Menu items not in stock such as the breakfast sandwich, for breakfast. Family ordered crepes, waffles, eggs, and grilled cheese.
If you have over a hour to dedicate to wait for your breakfast than this is for you.
Owner needs to learn customer service and appreciation.
Wont return.
One star because the food was good, but then again if anyone spends over a hour making a crêpe and grilled cheese it had better be the best around, and this wasnt.

This is now one of my favorite places to get my sweet tooth fix, definitely one of the little gems hidden away in Long Island. I will definitely return and spread the news about you guys. Plus the customer service was awesome!!!

Good place, guy is super sweet. The cupcakes r moist and not too sweet — had the rainbow cake, red velvet, reeses, and Willy wonka will def go back to try more. Plus Wednesday’s cupcakes 6 for $ 10!

Went in on a whim and the man behind the counter was so sweet. He helped my kids and me pick out some sweets. The kids got cake pops which they said were delicious. I had a cupcake that was awesome. I can’t remember the name of it. It was a yellow cake with marshmallow filling and topped with cinnamon sugar cream cheese frosting. I will definitely be going back. We loved the service and the product.

Checked out this small Lynbrook bakery’s offerings and sampled three, presented best to worst.
1) Chocolate & Raisin Bread Pudding — our favorite item — would return just for it.
2) A «cronut» croissant /​donut hybrid dipped in chocolate with vanilla pudding filling. — tasty but odd. Vaguely baklava-​like crust, slightly oily bottom. Mediocre overall.
3) Chocolate Blackout Muffin — a disappointment. dry. frosting was not good. didn’t care for it.

Best waffles in Long Island. It’s so fluffy and batter made fresh everyday. My Saturday/​Sunday must stop for coffee and waffles.

Happy to find this little spot! Needing cupcakes for a birthday and since everyone celebrating was from manhattan we had no idea where to go.
Of course once reading their Unilocal I figured it was good.
SO DELISH! We loved it and can’t wait for another person to have a birthday so we can get more. Frosting to cake ratio on point, and flavor didn’t lack. Thanks sweet serendipity!

Cute little shop around the corner from our house, the gelato is great, I had the mango sorbet and it was amazing, also my friend bought cupcakes to take home and described them as amazing, this is definitely a place worth trying

My town is severely lacking in dessert-​only shops. Sometimes you don’t want dessert right after dinner or you want a change of scenery. Finally, we can have that with Sweet Serendipity.
Sweet Serendipity has both delicious and beautifully handcrafted cakes. I had the Charlie Chaplin which was just too cute to resist (see picture).
Besides cakes, they have cupcakes, crepes, coffee, etc. I can’t wait to try everything!

Earlier today, my best friend was at my house and discovered a coupon for this place in the local mailer. She said she’s passed it a bunch of times and always wanted to try it. I’ve never, ever in my life seen pastries like this. The cupcakes are HUGE, beautifully presented but it’s not just a pretty face. The taste is out of this world and they’re incredibly moist. A lot of the cupcakes in the specialty bake shops I’ve tried are all talk and no substance. This was not the case here; they tasted as good as it looked, if not better. We ordered the rainbow cookie and red velvet cupcakes. The chocolate topping on the rainbow cupcake mixed with the raspberry was one of the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted. It puts any other bake shop around here to shame. Not only were there a vast selection of unique cupcakes, but there were also cakes, tarts and other baked goods. The extremely friendly owner said his wife makes all of these decadent treats and cakes herself. He offered to let us sample some bread pudding which was ridiculously amazing.
My one year old was running amok as usual, so the owner let me close the door so he wouldn’t try to run out into the parking lot. There are a few tables and chairs you can sit at to enjoy your food. I felt terrible about all the crumbs and offered to clean it myself, but he was cool and didn’t mind. I think we’ve found our new dessert place and I couldn’t be happier to spread the word. This area is in desperate need of a good, kid friendly cupcake spot! You can always judge a store’s cleanliness by checking out the bathroom. It was imacculate. I’m totally getting Sadie’s birthday cake there next year. Cant wait to go back again and try everything, especially the lattes and espresso drinks I have yet to experience but 99.9% confident I will not be disappointed.
