Truly the best, freshest and most buttery-tasting nuts you’ll ever eat. Even if you’re not a hazelnut fan, you will flip over these. A foodie/connoisseur item. The Ennis are a very special treat since you can’t really find them anywhere else. I’m knocking off one star only because the flavored nuts have some old-school chemicals in them that I personally must avoid and with nuts this freaking good, I think the folks at Holmquist may want to consider upgrading their flavor dusts to more wholesome recipes. In truth, you really don’t need the flavorings anyway. These are premium nuts and they’re insanely delicious plain, dry roasted. Don’t forget to try the hazelnut flour for breading/coating things. Wow.

How do you like your nuts? With ranch flavor? How about a little orange cinnamon instead? Well, these folks have got it down to a science and it’s been for a while now as their Pike’s Market stand has become our annual stop. During our October Seattle visit, my flavor was Southwest as I’ve been on a savory kick lately. Ranch is not bad but don’t store it too long. The orange cinnamon is addictive as your fingers keep reaching for another one. I refrigerated mine but, if you are slow munchers, you can also freeze them to preserve the crunch. Like my fingers, I keep coming back for more!
