A&L Happy Feet Reflexology

I am using my boyfriend’s Unilocal account. I hope that others will read the reviews on here before making a decision to come here.
My friend found a groupon for a foot reflexology for 60 minutes. So I made an appointment the day before for my 2 friends and I on 1÷16÷16, so we could spend some girl time together. When I spoke to the lady on the phone to make the appointment, I clearly stated that I was making an appointment for 3 people to get the reflexology for 60 minutes for 2pm. The lady said «okay, 3 people for 2pm see you then.»
When I arrived it seemed like no one was there except the lady at the front desk area. My 2 friends were running late, which I had mentioned to the lady since we all have an appointment at 2pm. She said «okay come with me,» and walked me to a «room,» well section is more like it. They didn’t have rooms, the beds were separated by curtains which is a first for me. I didn’t think anything of it, since it was pretty quiet. When my first friend arrived they walked her to where I was and the lady said that they were very busy and that she would have to wait 40 minutes and that my other friend had to wait 1 hour and a half. My friend and I looked at each other like umm seriously their is no one here. How do you only have 1 person working at a massage place? We were very upset and my friend decided to leave. At that point we text my other friend to not even bother coming either. We all drove 25 minutes to get to this place. Instead of relaxation she left more stressed.
I was looking forward to spending time with my friends. While the lady gave me a massage on my feet, which by the way all she did was just putting lotion on my feet for like 50 minutes. I could of done that. I mentioned to the lady that I was upset about the fact that my friends had to leave because apparently they were «busy» she just smiled and said «ohhh, you come back next time to get a full body massage.» At that point I just shuck my head.

So I’m here because of a groupon deal.
The location is across from Gelone’s Italian Restaurant and has a blue awning squished between 2 other store signs. Just be aware that they are upstairs… so once you walk in go to the right and they check you in. Then whichever service you want, their rooms are all over the place. The couple massage room was located on the opposite side. Yah sounds confusing and it was.
I must say the massage didn’t disappoint me but here’s my reasons I gave it a 3.
Pros:
— we were able to get a couple massage appointment the same day
— couple massage room was clean
— Jenny and Helen were very friendly (our masseuse)
— They use hot stones towards the end
Cons:
— walking into the massage room, it smelled like cigarettes
— the music would sometimes stop playing so then I would hear the sounds of the cars outside because the windows were literally parallel to Ridge road.
So overall I was pleasant with my service. Would I come again, sure.
Some tips:
— They allowed us to use our credit card for tip
— Foot reflexology massages are $ 29 for 1 hour
