customer service was amazing right to the point and work came out great in a timely manner!

I made an appointment for an oil change and brake fluid flush on my 2007 BMW 335i. Dealership quoted $ 250 for both services. Motorsport did both for $ 183. Wait time was only 1.5 hr and they have free wifi.

Don’t understand bad reviews for this shop. John and his team are the most honest, professional and helpful mechanics I’ve ever had. Brought him VWs for years. Just picked up a 2003 SLK320 Benz hardtop convertible and you can bet I’m gonna trust John to keep it healthy, too.

Have to agree with review by Dan. They also mis-​diagnosed a simple engine light problem. Tried to charge me over $ 1000! Used a rebuilt part but didn’t tell it was rebuilt. I took car to Meadowlands Audi which quickly diagnosed problem and repaired in one day for under $ 300. They also informed that a rebuilt part had been used. When I questioned GMBH about this they said oh we were trying to save you money. Fixing the problem correctly the first time would’ve saved me money!!!
One piece of advice STAY AWAY! This is a shady business.

The only l shop I trust with my car. Very trustworthy and fair pricing. John really knows what he is talking about and they are quick too. I never have to worry that I am getting a «sales pitch». He only tells me what I really need to do to maintain my vehicle and keep it running perfect. Had a few problems taking my car to the dealer, it just did not drive right but ever since I took it here, its been running like the day I drove it off the lot.

. The customer service was great and my tires were installed to perfection.

I kept getting p0456 (small evap leak) check engine code, and replacing my gas cap didn’t fix the issue, so I brought my car to motorsport gmbh for a smoke test to find the leak.
The mechanic was real cool, showed me exactly where the issue was, and knew a great deal about my series of vehicle in general, and was very enthusiastic about it.
He also showed me a couple of other maintenance issues, I was pleased he didn’t try to upsell me on any of it, but rather gave an honest fyi about it. I highly recommend this shop, I really hope it can be my go-​to shop, time will tell.

Great place. They mounted and balanced new tires on my 3 series last summer. Very reasonable price, and they have you order directly from TireRack so you get the best price on your tires as well. More recently they replaced my front brake pads. BMW Bloomfield gave me an estimate for brake pads that was $ 150 MORE than what I paid at GmbH (and I would be almost certain BMW would have claimed I needed new rotors too). I dropped off my car on Monday afternoon and they had it finished by Tuesday morning. Quick, friendly, and reasonable prices. Will be returning to have all work not covered under my BMW warranty completed.

Professional, friendly and SUPER helpful. I went to John with a problem and within minutes, he knew exactly what it was and helped me to get what I needed to have it fixed without it costing me a fortune. It was my first time doing business with them but they’re my go-​to shop now for sure. Definitely 1^st choice!

Small local shop that offers great service and wont rip you off. Very rare these days. My 2008 335i had the check engine light on. Park bmw told me the repair for the airbag sensor would cost approx 1000 $. The guy at gmbh reset my comp and charged me nothing. The light never came back on.

Driving around Hoboken I hit the mother of all pot holes and afterwards the front left hand side of my 2006 325i was making the worst sound in the world. I really know very little about cars so i just filled the tire up to the max it said it would hold and drove it over to these guys.
so apparently i had actually cracked the rim! they said the tire might be able to be saved but the rim was done. they said they knew a guy that sold refurbished rims from junkers and that they would get a rim from him and throw it on. lets just say a new rim from BMW is a lot more money than what they sold me and the rim looks 100% new.
they also said i need new brakes and rotors which they charged me a fair price for bmw oem parts. since they were doing all of the other stuff they didn’t charge me on the labor for lots of the little stuff which was really nice.
it’s just nice to know that they people are honest and won’t nickle and dime you. i have nothing but good things to say about these people.

I had the pleasure of bringing my 2005 BMW 325xi to this fine establishment today for what I thought would have been a huge problem. They looked at my car in within about 5 minutes they came into the waiting room and told me «its fixed!» Apparently there was a flap in my tail pipe that was stuck and causing it to make a noise. They «unstuck» it for me and sent me on my way without even charging me. I’m so happy that I found this place, and even more happy that I’m not going to be taking my car to the dealer anymore to get raked over hot coals.

These guys are great, I went in for an oil change on my M3. They work with only high quality products and actually KNOW the cars they’re working on in and out. I felt very comfortable and trusted their expertise. Very professional and down to earth guys. Glad I went there and will continue to do so!

John is my go to guy for my BMW. he does great service, quick to the point and doesn’t try to constantly tack on things like the local BMW dealers.
He sticks to schedule, keeps in constant contact so I know what’s up with my car and treats it like his baby. Just like I do.
I recently bought a Benz and plan on bringing it down to John as well.
I wouldn’t think of taking it anywhere else
