The 3-star rating is based on the two sandwiches that we got(grilled chicken with roasted peppers, mozzarella cheese with oil & vinegar and roast beef sandwich with gravy and mozzarella cheese). The bread had a nice snap to it. The combination of flavors was very nice. I was told delivery would take 45 minutes but the food got here in about 25 min. HOWEVER, I would give the tiramisu 0 star. To charge $ 4 for something so small is highway robbery. We will order sandwiches again but not dessert. I would’ve given 4 stars, but I had to deduct for the dessert.

My mother has been ordering take out from Pietro’s for 10 years. I can’t tell you how much money she’s spent at this establishment; at least a few grand if not more. My mom has several neurological and psychiatric conditions for which she takes medication. Nicotine causes severe side effects for her when she is on medication however she is too ill to understand that she should not smoke. I called recently to request that Pietro’s stop selling cigarettes to my mother. I was told by Mike that they would«try their best». The next day they delivered one salad and 4 packs of cigarettes to my mother’s door. When I called again I was advised by Mike that there was«nothing he could do» Pietro’s is her only access to cigarettes. She is home bound, in a wheel chair, and no friends or family will buy her cigarettes. Unfortunately this«family restauarant» finds it more important to make a dollar off my elderly disabled and mentally ill mother than to look out for the health of its patrons. Now my mother is up from 1 cigarette a day to half a pack a day since last November. Mike, Imagine it was your mother… I asked for one favor after 10 years of patronage… Thanks for nothing…

There is nothing in life like a GREAT slice of pizza. This place DOESNOTHAVEIT. I was actually offended, that this is what they call pizza. It was my first time there and it look like this might be a pasta place. But I’ll tell you it ain’t a pizza place. It’s not pizza dough it’s like they are trying to use bread to make pizza. It’s so thick it’s half way to being a Sicilian. The cheese was subpar and at times nonexistent. And a pepperoni looked shriveled, dry and old. Honestly, I wouldn’t eat their pizza again if it was free and I was starving.

We’ve ordered takeout at work from here a few times, so I’ve never actually been to the location. I’ve ordered the Rio salad both times and it was delicious! The lettuce is actually green(I despise iceberg and white-looking romaine), the chicken had a great grilled flavor and all the toppings were fresh and flavorful. They can get a little heavy on the dressing, so next time I’ll get it on the side.

THis place is usually good. It’s always my go to spot. Unfortunately, if u order on the wrong day, the food is garbage. For example, tonight I ordered the sliced steak salad– which you would assume would be a healthier option… Not the case. My salad was topped with a huge mound of disgusting greasy steak-umms(I think the owner should note that on the menu. It’s very deceiving). Also, the dressing, which thank GOD I asked for it on the side, was clearly white vinegar mixed with pink lemonade. It was absolutely. Disgusting. Also, the gentleman who took the order was very short with me. Not good customer skills. Although our food arrived within 10 mins, I’m very disappointed in the food tonight. Hopefully next time is better, or it will be my last order.

One of the few places around that you can get tripe. Also a big fan of the chicken francese hero.

This is my go-to place for a chicken parm sandwich or an Italian sub. Mike always piles the meat and provolone high on a huge submarine roll, so much so that I can barely finish it. The chicken is quality meat and the sauce is phenomenal. I’ve gotten several other dishes here as well and never had a bad meal. I highly recommend Pietro’s if you’re looking for a casual sit-down meal or just want to grab a sandwich to go.

Solid spot. All the sandwiches and wraps are great. The pietro salad is awesome. Buffalo chicken and Caesar wraps are a staple. The chicken savoy and chicken a la romana make a great meal for the family.

Sandwiches are actually better than most places in the area. Salads are mediocre. Pasta is decent. But what’s not at all acceptable is their delivery service. After an hour of waiting for one sandwich, I grab my phone to call and see what the deal is. I have a missed call from them and one from a random number I don’t recognize. I call the restaurant back. Rude guy says his delivery guy was here but no ones home. Obviously not true. Delivery dude comes back and says I called you. I asked why he didn’t ring the bell or knock. His response«I didn’t know you wanted me to». Seriously? Hire new COMPETENT delivery people.

Awesome lunch spot, also great for takeaway. I’ve been eating here for years and I’ve never had a bad meal or a bad experience. My favorite food items are buffalo chicken wraps and buffalo chicken salads, all of their salads, and their grilled chicken sandwich. I love that you buy wine here, they will open it for you at the restaurant. They also have tasty daily specials and awesome take home deserts. I generally order takeout from here but on the rare occasion I’ve eaten in the restaurant, the staff was very attentive and friendly. It’s the perfect lunch spot if you’re craving a soup, sandwich or salad.

Place looked nice, some Italian specialty items, wine selection, etc. The staff was friendly and inviting. On a busy street, so their small parking lot is a plus. The food was average. The rice balls were huge, but bland and mushy. My sandwich, was huge. Mortadella with aged provolone. Nothing special and the bread a bit soggy, no snap. Wasn’t too impressed with their cold salads, so didn’t get anything.

I usually get the Italian Chicken Salad, which is outstanding, but today I got mostly rotten mixed greens and flavorless dry chicken. Not at all what their salad is usually like. I ordered it for delivery and had it sent to my job. On my lunch break I had to sit there and pick out all of the rotten slimey mixed greens. As if my lunch break wasn’t short enough. There was no time to call them up and re-order. What a bummer. But I’m not taking any more chances, not ordering from them again.

Delicious ruben sub. I thought the chicken francese sub was pretty good too, but the ruben was better. I enjoyed the bread on the sandwich a lot. I also tried their house salad with balsamic… dressing was not good. I like the atmosphere here. It’s a great casual lunch joint(café/deli sit down). They have a lot of booze for purchase, but only for take-out. Came here again and the sandwich definitely lacked. I ordered Grilled Chicken, Roasted Red Peppers, Balsamic, and Arugula. Barely any Arugula and Roasted Red Peppers…

he waitresses seem friendly, the service was good, the prices are good, but the food is average. Not terrible but not interesting. We had ziti, mozzarella sticks, and a ‘tri-color salad’ topped with chicken and grilled vegetables. This place is pretty casual, similar to a neighborhood pizzeria but with table service. Don’t expect table cloths. There are TVs mounted on the walls and radio playing pop music. If they serve you soda, it’s to give you a bottle from their case. The vibe is very friendly — people seemed to know each other and the staff. The ziti was just sauce and noodles topped with cheese. No ricotta or meat. As a result, it was pretty basic. The mozzarella sticks could have been reheated from a box. I don’t know. The salad was lettuce topped with chicken breast with a few roasted carrots and some sort of odd squash. The flesh was dark like it had been marinated, then cooked. It wasn’t eggplant. I don’t know. It wasn’t bad, just not what I was expecting.

Trattoria We were in the area for work and needed a place to refuel and discuss some work related stuff so we did a quick Unilocal search and Pietro’s was the winner. An interesting place when you walk in — sort of half deli, half sit down place with bottles of wine on one of the walls and a counter to place your order — or in our case, we grabbed a table and had a waitress bring some menus. A Trattoria is one of those Italian places where you can get anything from a snack to a full blown meal and we pretty much tried a little of everything. The menu is comprehensive and since one of our party was from the south, he wanted to try something very Italian… perfect. The waitress was quick and efficient and knew that menu inside and out — we ordered up a bunch of stuff and got down to the business of stuffing our faces. Since it was lunch, we passed on the wines. All in all a solid eatery with extremely decent prices for everything. Definitely a must-try if in the area. Parking is hit or miss as they have a teeny parking lot and the streets are also loaded with cars, so you may have to walk a little to get in there — but it is worth the walk.

Good food at a good price for sure! We’ve ordered from them many many many times. BUTSOMEBODY needs to learn how to package the takeout. My husband isn’t happy about the mess in the car the last time we picked up and actually it happened on more than one occasion.

They’ve been going strong for over 10 years but I only finally got around to checking them out recently. And they make a damn fine pie. The sauce is clean, simple and surprisingly fresh. The crust is more akin to deep-dish and will give your Denture glue a workout(I mean that as a total compliment). The place is clean, staff is friendly and they have a liquor license. What’s not to love?
