Rupi Eyebrow Place

I’ve been here a few times for brow/​lip threading and bikini waxing. They do such a beautiful job here! I forget the names of the technicians I’ve been to but they have all been great!

I am so paranoid about eyebrows! One wrong move and it can take months to fix. I’m loyal to a place near my job but being off for the holidays I wanted to find somewhere for a touch up and not have to drive into the city. As usual I turned to Unilocal.
No appointment is necessary at this place so I walked right in and trusted my eyebrows to the first person available. She did an awesome job at taming my curly eyebrows while keeping the exact shape my usual eyebrow person had already made. $ 6 for eyebrow threading is great (I pay $ 9 in the city). There is only street parking here and since I couldn’t find any I took my chances and parked at the Chase bank across the street.

Friendly staff, clean, great priced and good work… made me s believer in threading love them!

Went here as soon as she opened up in a Saturday morning. One person was getting their eyebrows done so there was very little wait. She did a great job shaping my eyebrows and the place was very clean. Will definitely be back.

Awesome place to get eyebrows thread. People are fast and friendly. Little wait and they have a stamp program; after your 10^th. Thread is free!

The women did a great job for my sisters bridal party! So fast and flexible– they took care of 5 of us within 1 hour– eyebrows and beautiful henna– mehndi.

For fear of missing half an eyebrow, I’ve been committed to a threading place 30 mins away that was $ 5 and very hard to beat. Being that tomorrow is my first day of work and have a trillion things to do, I didnt have the time to travel and I saw that Rupi was open so I decided to try it out. The place was very clean and I didnt wait long while she took care of 2 customers before me (which both came out amazing). The thread she used was of better quality than my other place because it didn’t leave my face red like a tomato and she offered cream afterwards which is always great. As I was paying she explained their punch card deal which after 9 visits you get a free threading, which is awesome. Yay to finding a new place and still having both eyebrows!

They do a better job cleaning my eyebrows than reshaping them. They never quite got the shape I wanted right, so I stick to this place for just cleaning.

She did a great job on my eyebrows. No complaints with that. They had the TV blasting but I was only in there for 5 mins so it’s all good. Best part it was only $ 6! She asked me if I wanted lotion and I said yes. It was nice. Hopefully it doesn’t clog my pores.

I usually do my own eyebrows but was feeling lazy and decided to try this place. I have done threading a few time thru the years, mostly in Jersey City. This place is nice and clean, the service was friendly and the work done was done well and fast. I was in and out in 10 mins and did my eyebrows and upper lip all for a $ 9 total. Will defiantly try bit again.

Unilocal reviewers did not fail me. It’s tough finding a place that will listen and keep your eyebrows thick. The woman who did my brows was Aasmi (sp). She was quick and cleaned my brows up well. Definitely coming back!

Okay, so I have had this place bookmarked for a while and have been dying to try it out. I recently made the change from waxing my eyebrows to threading them and have been kinda shopping around to find the right place.
Today was my first time coming here and I was very happy with the results. The lady did just as I asked (clean them up and leave a little so they can thicken) as opposed to other places that when I say to just clean them up they make them thinner.
The woman was also SO SWEET. Unfortunately, I can’t remember her name. Something with a «N» though.
While I was inside I also decided to get a Henna which was the main reason I wanted to come here in the first place. I was able to show the woman a picture of a Henna design on my phone and within 10minutes she was able to do it. It came out so beautiful and I am very happy with the results and how authentic it looks.
I most definitely recommend this place for threading and more importantly the Henna.
I will definitely be making this my regular eyebrow spot and be coming often for more henna.

First and foremost, the eyebrow threading has improved. The woman who never gave me even eyebrows is no longer there, so my experience has improved significantly. And I no longer want to drive into Jersey City to save myself $ 2, so this place is perfect.
If any of you have read my last review about facials, I was told by one of the women at the shop that she was fired. Apparently, she was explicitly told not to re-​use towels or garments EVER on a client, but she obviously ignored those instructions. For that, she has been fired. So, facials may have improved — let me know if you ever get a facial at Rupi before I get a chance to return.

I found this place by chance as I was leaving a liquor store. I just moved to Lyndurst and was looking for a place to have my eyebrows threaded. I walked right in and after a five minute wait I had my eyebrows done. The lady was very nice and I am happy with how my eyebrows look. And the cost of $ 6 doesn’t hurt either. I will definitely be coming back here.
