I placed an order through Grub Hub fairly close to closing time, and I put special instructions to include extra marinara and bleu cheese with my calzones. I got no bleu cheese and minimal marinara, and when I called the restaurant to fulfill the rest of the order, they were closed and couldn’t fix their mistake. The delivery driver was sympathetic but had no power to fulfill the order as he did not have access to the building after hours. UPDATE — I returned to Alfredo’s the next day hoping to just get the dipping sauces for my leftover calzones, and the owner graciously offered me make me a new calzone free of charge for the trouble. In light of this, I have updated my review from 3 to 5 stars.

Order arrived in less than 40 minutes. We had three subs/wraps; Chicken cutlet sub was made perfectly and the toasted bread was a plus! Chicken parmesan sub was juicy and not dripping in sauce. Lastly, Chicken Caesar wrap, the best I’ve ever tried! Try them out you won’t regret it!

Ordered stuffed shells with meatballs and asked if it was for two person. She said yes, they are all made for two to eat. Picked it up went home and there were three stuffed shells with four meatballs in the same container… What two grown ass adults would get full off that??? For $ 13 I expected there to be more than three piece of stuffed shells and four itty bitty meatballs. Do better.

Tonight I finally decided to try Alfredo’s after having passed it many times. I ordered chicken parmesan with spaghetti. I’m admittedly very picky about my pasta so I asked them if they did have spaghetti, and I was told yes they do. I then asked f I could get 2 – 4 ravioli thrown in with the chicken parm and I’d pay for them. I was told, «no the chicken parm is pretty loaded»(more on that momentarily) and I would have to order a full side of ravioli, so I skipped the ravioli. Papa Gino’s has no problem with adding a couple of ravioli to your order. When my order came up he called to me and said«here is your chicken parm with linguini»(nope that’s not spaghetti). I had little time to spare so I took it and left. I got home with a bag with a growing stain on it’s bottom. I took out the order which was wrapped in saran wrap to find it leaking red sauce. Taking the saran wrap off released a deluge of sauce all over the floor and table. Opening the overfilled container released more sauce all over the table and floor. Think 10 lb. of sh*t in a 5 lb. bag, it doesn’t work. It’s not that they are being generous with the food, they are being stingy with the containers. Of course as I suspected even after asking I got chicken parm with linguini, not spaghetti as I had requested. If you don’t have something just say so, don’t lie to make a sale because you only guaranteed I’ll never come back. This was advertised as feeding two people. It contained only one piece of chicken. That is not a two person serving. The container was otherwise filled with linguini and sauce.

I ordered a BLT. first, they asked me if i wanted lettuce and tomatoes. Duh. Then they didn’t put Mayo on it and the bacon was burned. The mozzarella sticks were cold. We’ve ordered BLTs from them before, I think they have given up and just don’t care anymore. They lost 2 customers today.

This place was good when it first opened. They’ve screwed up my order about 40 — 50% of the time in the past 6 months. Things seem to be going downhill fast. Today I ordered a grilled chicken Caesar salad. After I got home and opened the bag it was a Greek salad with no dressing. I called to complain and they offered to replace it. I declined an began to eat the salad with my own dressing. No big deal. But then I went to eat the chicken it was dry and tough, and cooked black in many places. It looked like it had been cooked before, and then recooked when I ordered. I muscled through and choked it down(most of it, the edible parts) but when I got into the salad the cherry tomatoes still had the little green stems attached. Come on, I can see a mistake now and then but how do you make FOUR big no-nos on the same salad, especially when it was the middle of the afternoon and there was no one else there ordering anything. Wrong Salad No dressing Burnt chicken Tomatoes with stems still attached I’m not writing this out of spite, but rather with the hope that someone from Alfredo’s reads these reviews. The screw ups are one thing, but when the tomatoes haven’t been prepped properly it makes me wonder what goes on in the kitchen and how diligent they are about cleaning and prepping food properly.

2nd time ordering from here. Got delivery both times, food arrived in 45 minutes. First time I ordered, I got the lasagna«dinner». Lasagna was good, but proportion was not that big, it says feeds two people, but that is definitely not true in my opinion. .unless your feeding two children. Also it only comes with two small triangle shaped pieces of homemade bread. fyi, the pasta dinners only come with the two pieces of bread. No side salad or anything. This time I ordered a medium cheese pizza and the chicken ziti broccoli Alfredo. Pizza: was not hot or even warm when it arrived and was not great In my opinion or my husband’s. Lucky it was ordered for my 4 year old son and he liked it because it is similar to the pizza from Chuck e cheese(that was my first thought). Thinner than chuck e cheese pizza. Crust was a little burnt. Chicken Ziti Broccoli Alfredo: Same deal as the lasagna, not really for two people, one person can eat a decent portion, but I assure you the second person will be jipped and still be hungry. The creamy Alfredo sauce was plain, so I just added garlic salt from my kitchen to the plate. The chicken was cooked good and the broccoli was also cooked perfectly. But when u open ur container, all you can smell is the broccoli. And again just a little disappointed that a dinner came with nothing but a piece of bread. Also online prices do not match the prices that came on the paper menu, paper menu prices are more expensive.

I love this place! I used to come here or order out almost every other day while I was living in Lynn. First things first, their pizza is amazing. The crust is just right, not too thin, but not too thick; just the way it should be. Very generous with the amount of cheese and toppings you select. I’ve tried a whole bunch of different types of pizza there, and all of them were delicious. My favorites are definitely the shrimp scampi and the buffalo chicken pizza. Their pasta is very, very tasty. My favorite is the Chicken Broccoli Alfredo, but all of the pasta I’ve tried there has been amazing. The pasta is very filling! Their portions are huge. First time I went there I ordered some pasta thinking it would just be enough to quiet my stomach, but boy was I wrong; I was FILLED and I had to take the rest of my pasta home for later. The wraps are delicious too – personally I’m big on pizza and pasta in general, so I don’t order the wraps that frequently, but when I’m on the go, I’d grab a wrap. They’re very well made, very tasty, and very filling. Finally, the venue is spotless; I’ve never seen any napkins on the floor, crumbs on the tables, or sauce residue on the tables or chairs. The employees are also very polite. All in all, great place, great quality food, and great prices. I would STRONGLY recommend this place to anyone and everyone!

I’ve had just about every pizza/sub shop in Lynn. I have had great and sub-par experiences with them all. Most subpar, but I can’t knock them all. With Alfredo’s I have never had a bad experience in the dozen or so times I have ordered from them. Fast, hot and every delivery driver I have encountered has been great. I can only speak of cold subs, pizza and calzone(which is gigantic) as that is all I have ordered from them, but those food items are top notch at a reasonable price. I live a block away from 2 pizza joints and 3 blocks from another. I would pay for delivery from Alfredo’s easily for the food quality. Weird for me to review a place I have never set foot in, but our two subs and two-liter just got here so lightning fast I had to log in to Unilocal and hook them up. If you’re in Lynn and looking for a quick bite, give them a try.

I have to say I’ve tried Alfredo’s a few times and have been less than impressed every single time. The Chicken Parm sub is nothing but chicken fingers cut up in pieces. It’s not a cutlet sandwich. The sauce and cheese were non existent. The Italian sub was soggy with too much oil and not enough veggies. I will not be going back.

It was just okay. I ordered one of the house special pizzas. It was the«Caliente» with sausage, mushrooms, and hot cherry peppers. The pizza was average at best but came at a premium price. It had enough mushrooms but it had about one piece of sausage per slice. Oh and the hot cherry peppers? They must have been out of those ands instead they just sprinkled the pizza with the ground up hot pepper mix you often find on an Italian sub. Amateur hour. There was the making of a good pizza here, try harder folks.

My husband and I have lived in Lynn for 26 years and have tried just about every place around that serves food recommended by friends and neighbors. Neither he nor I grew up in Lynn and have found that most of the food we have had has been mediocre at best! That was until this evening! We ordered two dinners from Alfredo’s Italian Kitchen and the most delicious food was so quickly delivered by such a nice kid! There was so much yummy food, we could have fed more people but neither of us were willing to share! My husband had spaghetti and meatballs(I stole a meatball) and it was succulent and so much better than my own home made! My own shrimp Abruzzo had more shrimp than I could eat and lots of fresh veggies and pasta and the sauce, oh so good! And they even included 6 servings of the best home-made bread! We asked to have a menu delivered and after reading thru it, everything sounds so good, I just can’t decide what I want to order next! But trust me, it will be soon!

This place is absolutely amazing! you would never picture this to be in a Lynn location. Oh man where do I start I’ve tried only 3 items but they were delicious. The steak tips are marinated and cooked perfectly and the chicken tender plate comes well prepared with restaurant style onion rings. I was in heaven, everything is cooked fresh and most orders come with their home made bread. It’s a little pricey but for good reasons, no matter what you order there is usually enough for 2. I definitely recommend and it’s already one of my regular spots.
