B & B Pest Control

So unfortunately I got what nobody wants to get… the dreaded bed bugs. UGH. I travel a lot so something probably jumped on my luggage on a plane or something. Who knows? Working in the housing industry, I know what a pain they are to get rid of. Thankfully it wasn’t a true infestation, but there was NO WAY I was going to let this problem get bigger.
We bought a house in June and B&B had sprayed the house before we moved in as part of a home inspection follow up, and they left their number. Thank goodness they did! I called Orkin first who gave me a quote of $ 750 per room. Yikes. I called B&B and they were a fraction of that. I tend to follow the philosophy of ‘you get what you pay for’ but I decided to take my chances with B&B.
From the very first call, I could tell they knew what they were doing. Plus they talked to me like a human being, which is always a bonus. We got the appointment scheduled and they gave me a great list of things I needed to do to prepare.
The very nice gentleman showed up and, again, was extremely courteous and professional. He assured me that we did not have a true infestation, but closing my eyes and hoping these bugs would disappear wasn’t realistic, so he still needed to spray. And this would require 2 separate treatments. He gave me tips on what to do with my items before he came back in 2 weeks for the next treatment which I appreciated. I was pleased to see him back in 2 weeks as the bugs had reappeared. It’s been a couple of months since the 2^nd treatment and not one bug has been seen! Yay! They do have a 3 month warranty just in case, which eased my mind, but I highly doubt I’ll need anything.
I highly recommend B&B for your pest control needs. They are very friendly, very prompt, very reasonably priced, and understand that you are in a very uncomfortable situation.

These guys made it a pleasure to get an infestation of mice. If I was the type of person that enjoyed vermin inhabiting my home id let them set up shop all over again just to have B&B come over and annihilate them again. All kidding aside it was a quick and painless job for me and they walked me through the thought process of the mice so I can prevent this from happening again.

I’ve used these guys previously at a different place of ours. We had some mouse problems, called B & B and with the week, they were able to come out and take care of it quickly. Good guys, decent price and easy to schedule service.

I recently needed a pest treatment for a real estate transaction and called B & B. They sent out Keith for the job. Keith arrived early for the appointment which was great and did a very good explanation of what needed to be done. He was very professional and polite to the customers and took time to help them understand the process. I will call him next time I need work done. Excellent !

John and his team (David came to my house) were awesome — timely and very fairly priced. Both David and John were personable, easy to work with and did a great job. I was reassured a number of times that if I ever had a problem with the issue they solved for, they would come back and address. I lived in Revere for 21 yrs, and never saw a rodent until this month. I am disabled and use a wheelchair ²⁴⁄₇. My only leisure time is spent outside in my yard, but after seeing these rodents, I have become a prisoner staying in my house. I called B&B and spoke to a very nice man named John, who said he would have someone here on Tuesday. I have been waiting weeks for a company to pave my driveway, they never show or call. I want to compliment John for keeping his word and for sending his worker named Rich. Rich was polite, patient, and explained all the steps he was going to do before doing them. When he left, I felt very secure, safe and comfortable that I could call him, if in 3 weeks, I saw any pests, around my property. I want to thank John & Rich for «piece of mind» that they gave me. I was very impressed with the service I received from B&B from the initial conversation I had with them up to the completion of the job. Much to my delight, I discovered that the gentlemen on the other end of the phone was none other than one of the owners, John. He was straight forward, open, and a delight to talk to. He sent one of his colleagues to my house at a day and time that worked for me. After the initial inspection, I received more first class service for the actual extermination. John, himself, showed up with a colleague to tackle the problem head on. Both were very open and direct when conversing with me about their process. I felt comfortable and at ease the entire time. They performed the necessary work in a diligent and timely manner. I am very satisfied and recommend their services to anyone who needs to rid themselves a of bug problem!

This is one of those things in life that you never want to deal with. B&B though from my 1^st call to (John) on Thursday afternoon was a win-​win for me & my family.
It was to late on Thursday to get them out to the house & I understood. They told me 1:30 next day & at 1:25 the tech (Rich) was on my front porch. He even parked in front of a different house then mine. Ten years ago I had a problem & the price was soooo high and all the tech at that time did was throw bags of the repellent here and there. Rich got down & dirty, behind the stove, plugging holes, placing the chemicals safely throughout the places he felt important. Took his time, was trying to make me happy, not getting to next customer at my expense. Prices are VERY FAIR. they give a warranty & told me to be sure to call back if problem continues. I live in downtown Boston, and the city has been cleaning and flushing the sewer system street by street causing me to encounter a rodent in my basement. I spoke to John, and he secured me an appointment within 2 days. The technician Rick was extremely pleasant and explained what the problem was. He located and plugged the entrance hole and laid traps, as well as plugged a hole under the bathroom sink.
They provide a free call back after a 10 day waiting period if the problem persists, as well as a 3 month warranty. I am extremely pleased with their service. Thanks very much.

I have used B&B Pest Control several times and have always had good service and success with them. I had problems with termites the first time. They were able to save the damage that was done. The boys were efficient with same day response and the cost was better than the 3 other quotes I received. I had them come out another time with a bee problem. They came out with full gear taking care of my issues.
My biggest concern was not only getting rid of my pest problems, but keep them from coming back. As a satisfied customer I can say that termites have not returned along with the bees that were under my siding in my house.
If you are looking for a solid pest control company that pretty much does it all, give these guys a call. No games, no gimmicks, just honesty and results!

I live in the Boston area and was experiencing extreme issues with ants throughout my house. I tried a number of different products (inside and out) in an attempt to control this problem to no avail. I have 2 young children so this was a very big issue for me for many reasons. I wanted this problem immediately and was seeking a safe method in doing so.
I proceeded to start doing some research on the web and came across Johnny B’s Pest Control /​B & B Pest Control. I proceeded to call, left a message and received a return phone call back within 30 minutes. I scheduled an appointment (which was extremely easy) and they immediately came to my house and treated the issues that I was having. Their pricing was extremely reasonable, the gentleman that I dealt with (John/​who I think is the owner) went above and beyond and was more than professional, and I no longer have any ants in my house!
I can’t say enough for Johnny B’s Pest Control /​B & B Pest Control and I would 100% use them again and would recommend that you do the same if you are experiencing any problems with pests! To say that I was more than impressed with their service (s), is an understatement.

John is the nicest guy! He really does care abut his clients and their happiness! I am very pleased with his level of service!

First of all, the owner, Johnny was very accommodative on the phone and told me that he would get a guy to my home whenever it was convenient for me. That happened to be at the end of the day on a Tuesday. Keith showed up to take care of a small mice problem that we had recently realized. He took care of everything without trying to rush and end his day. He educated me as he worked and he scoured my home to make sure we were set. Guy was the man. I would recommend B&B to anyone. Good guys who work hard and actually have personalities.

I called B&B and spoke to John about possible termites. He was so pleasant, kind and very reassuring. He came out to my home that day — asked me a couple of questions and then did his investigation. Although he had to deliver bad news, he assured me not to worry — they have my house all fixed up in no time. We scheduled a date/​time for the extermination and John, Sr. and his associate showed up promptly on the scheduled time/​date. They were professional, cleaned up after themselves and John Sr. went over everything with me. Their cost was extremely reasonable and I was very impressed with customer service! When they left, I felt confident that I am now living in a termite free house! Thank you B&B!

I just recently renovated my basement apartment. New bathroom, kitchen, new floors… the works! Obviously, living in a basement can be very scary with centipedes, spiders and all the other creepy crawlers. I called B&B pest control and they were very prompt and professional. Not only were the insects in my apartment completely gone, they also offered to come back for a second time just in case. Needless to say, I didn’t have to call them back during that season. Price is right, and very impressed with their customer service. Fabulous company. Would recommend to anyone in the north shore area!!!

I truly appreciate your email and response to my review. As I mentioned in my review, I have no doubt that one of your technicians did indeed die and that it affected your company’s workload recently. I am very sorry for your loss and know what a difficult time it must be for you and your colleagues. However, we were a potential paying customer and both my husband and I had to leave work early (I have a very long commute home) to rush home for the scheduled appointment. We also have a newborn baby at home, which meant juggling schedules all around. Thus, it was quite disappointing when nobody showed up or called us back. We understand now that you may have been understaffed and/​or dealing with the tragic loss of your colleague.
Finally, we needed prompt service as we are selling our home and needed an exterminator to verify whether or not we had any termites. Thus, all we wanted was somebody to call us to let us know nobody was going to show up and some timely follow-​up about rescheduling. Since we received neither type of communication, we had no choice but to give a negative review. I do value the time you took to write to me to clear up the situation and the fact that you are offering a gift card so I will be amending my rating to reflect these gestures. We have already secured the services of another exterminator but we will not rule out trying your company in the future if the need arises.

I believe I’m known on a first name basis over at B & B Pest Control that Jerry probably wants to put my number on block. Jerry is the very polite man who answers the phone for B & B — well, at least when I call. He always is very understanding and has a man over to my place within 48 hours. I have nothing but kind words for him and the entire B & B team. Go B & B!
