Worst place ever. It is absolutely true that the employees here HATE their job. You will never get a smile out of them. I actually challenge you to try. I got an exam and inevitably, my glasses, and the glasses didn’t work! We actually had a discussion about how the glasses were making me see double now, and they handed the glasses back to me. They«didn’t know what to tell me». So, I still don’t have glasses. And Im pretty sure my insurance wont support a second pair for another year!

Ok so I can’t believe I have to write a second review about this place. Unfortunately I didn’t get to warn EVERYONE how unprofessional these people are. Someone I know made an appointment there and even got a confirmation call the day before but when they arrived, those idiots claimed they never made the appointment for them. I don’t understand how they’re still in business smh…

The optometrist is healthful and nice, and they provide a quality eye glass efficiently. However the entire staff is lackadaisical and slow moving. The receptionist will ignore you and leave you waiting a long time to see the optometrist. Good glasses, abyssmal service.

If you don’t care about your vision, and don’t mind sit in a waiting room with miserable employees to then see an even more miserable optometrist… then go here… otherwise…RUN! Bay State Eye is absolutely horrible, from the moment you call to book an appointment to the moment the old brute… errr«optomitrist» is poking your eyes out. The girls at the front desk must absolutely hate their existence because they are pretty nasty to everyone… doesn’t matter if you call to simply call to confirm an appointment or have a complex issue with your insurance… they will make you want to gauge your eyes out.

I’ve been going here for two decades(except for a brief time where I didn’t have insurance they accepted) Dr. Anzaldi is a more-than-competent doctor and the staff is helpful. The technicians can come across as brusque but it doesn’t take long to realize it’s just a veneer and they’re helpful and professional. Service is great – if you need repairs on your glasses, they usually can take care of it immediately, without charge.
