Great location and huge selection of Keen and Merrill shoes which are both brands I like. Owner Derek took his time to measure and then even put the shoes on my feet! Derek is very personable and knowledgable of what he sales! Where does one get service like that today?! Better yet a lot of product was on sale. Therefore got great service and a bargain all in one. He has a returning customer with me!

My partner recently started a job where she needed to get steel-​toed shoes with a safety feature called electrostatic dispersal (something like that, I may be getting it wrong). Well, it turns out that almost no stores in the greater Seattle area carry steel-​toed boots/​shoes in women’s sizes at ALL. If she had larger feet, she may have been able to wear smaller men’s shoes, but she tends to wear a 5.5−6 in women’s, and wherever we checked, the smallest size of men’s shoes was way too big. Our last stop in a major chain store was the Sears in Alderwood Mall. Nope — they only carry women’s sizes online, and she’d been hoping to buy them that day (as well as to be able to try them on). I got on my phone and did some searching and found that Red Wings stores should carry what we were looking for. I called the number I found to see if they had women’s steel toed boots at all, to save us the trip if they didn’t have it. The man on the phone informed me that they were no longer Red Wings, but that they did indeed have a large selection of women’s steel toed boots. Yay!!!
The strip mall that this shop is in looks kind of dated and run-​down. It has a Michaels, a bird feed store, and a few other random places along with quite a few vacancies. I’d been here before to go to the Michaels, but hadn’t noticed this place. The «E» on their logo is backwards so I wasn’t sure if it was «3K» or «EK», but I double-​checked with the guy and it’s indeed EK. The inside of the store is very bright, clean and modern-​looking inside and really looks much better than the surrounding shopping center.
Well, they do have a great selection of women’s sizes. They also have a Keurig coffee machine and they encouraged me to help myself to a cup. I walked to the Michaels and back while she tried on shoes. Unfortunately, they didn’t have her size in stock, but they were very friendly, helpful, and put in an order for a shoe she otherwise found comfortable except that it was too large. The guys explained that their stock was currently lower than it would usually be because some of their shipments had been delayed by the shutdown at the Port of Seattle. Unfortunately, it continued to be delayed past when she really couldn’t wait any longer for the shoes, so she ended up needing to buy a size that was a bit too large. But I don’t want to penalize EK for issues that were out of their control. The customer service here is really great. They also have a reimbursement program with many major employers in the area.

Went in today looking for safety shoes for work. Store was nice and clean. Derek greeted me right away and helped me find the perfect pair. Seeing as I may be the only women who dislikes shoe shopping Derek was helpful and explained all the features of the shoes. All in all it was an awesome experience, I was in and out in less than 20min and I’ll definitely be back again.

Great service experience. Professional staff, clean store, fantastic products. Formerly a Redwing store, I went in looking for specific Redwing boots to find out they don’t carry Redwing anymore. Evidently they still have some old stock and, what do ya know, my boots in my size! Left a very happy customer. Only reason I give 4 stars is, though no fault of theirs, they don’t carry Redwing anymore so next time if I want Redwings I’ve got to shop elsewhere.

Good service. Decent selection in store, but NONE of the shoes I was interested in were in stock. It was nice that they were shipped for free to my house, but I’d rather be able to walk out of the store with shoes in hand– especially for the cost of Red Wings.

I’ve shopped at this location several times for work boots as well as casual shoes. Have a great selection and a fantastic staff that was always helpful. I would definitely recommend and will shop there in the future.
