Best place ever. The coffee has a very creamy strong flavor. Other places I’ve went to have a bland or watery taste. They have espresso shakes made with real ice cream, red bull Italian sodas, any coffee drink you can think of made hot or iced, and tons of pasteries. Best of all, the owner makes her own organic honey, lemon, and ginger tea. Its amazing.

We went to this place two moths ago when we first moved to the area and quickly wrote them off after our first visit because they screwed up my white chocolate mocha. Well my go to place was swamped for today I went back you see I recently switch my drink of choice to a Iced White chocolate Americano. I have not had a bad one til today unfortunately. If you like hot shots go to the one in Mill Creek I heard they are awesome I’m so over the one on 164th just because its convent to get too doesn’t warrant the visit, you have gourmet latte and café verde right down the road that do it better effortlessly. Some people should unfortunately stick to a different profession and the two ladies that have made my drinks should find a different career path or just scoop ice cream sorry my two cents aka the truth.

Love their white chocolate mochas made with the powder instead of syrup! It’s a pretty convenient place to get to if you are heading west on 164th — a little trickier going the other way. They also have walk-in available for those nice summer days that you are sunbathing at Martha lake.

You can drive-up, or go inside Hot Shots to watch the buttery delicious shots being pulled for you by the Nice Lady inside. I have never tried the sweet potato latte. Yet I have enjoyed a hot white-chocolate americano(with extra shots of course), several times. Fave.

I can’t believe I came back here without checking my old review first. The second time was as disappointing as the first. I had been meaning to try the sweet potato latte advertised on their sign so when I was in the area I stopped by the drive-thru window. I pulled up and wondered if I was going to be served because nobody came up for a minute or two. When the woman working came out I ordered the sweet potato latte– iced– with almond milk. The woman said«sure» and disappeared. Then she came back and said«I can only do it hot. It has real sweet potato in it.» I’m eager to please so I said it was fine. She disappeared(I think she was serving other customers) and then came back again and said it’s premixed so it can’t be made with almond milk. Okay– so what you’re saying and should have said the first time you disappeared is that it just can’t be made that way. I understand the limitations but did it really take that many times of leaving me sitting there before you could tell me that? I scanned the windows for a flavor list and found about ten written out on a piece of paper. I looked in the window and saw a good 50+ lined up. I had just left urgent care with my two young children and wasn’t in the mood so I ordered an iced mocha– no ice– with almond milk. She disappeared again. Then she came back and said«no ice??» No ice– I confirmed. She disappeared for the final time and came back with my drink, minus about ¾ inch of milk. «Is this how you wanted it?» she asked me, almost in a ridiculing manner. I should have asked for more milk but instead I told her it was what I wanted– it had no ice in it. She laughed and told me she had«never heard of that before» referring to someone getting no ice. I was a barista for three years. Tons and tons and tons of people get iced drinks without ice. Nothing is «weird» in the espresso world– especially not that. My nearly-full mocha was $ 4.50. I’m not going to lie– it was delicious. The shots were strong, sweet and were a really, really good pull. I would still never go back wittingly. I think the lady was probably actually pretty nice but is one of those people that has NO clue how people perceive her or how she comes off. $ 4.50 plus ten minutes of my time when my «bizarre» drink isn’t even filled just ain’t worth it. Hot Shots– for the love– type up a flavor list and display it.

I live of 164th. And i gave this Hot Shots 2 tries. Once when i moved to the area 2 years ago, and again a few moths ago. both times have been incredibly disappointing. I generally get a 24oz Iced White Chocolate mocha as my standard drink. And for whatever reason, at his location, and only this location of all the ones i frequent, it is incredibly sweet. Just thinking about it makes my gums ache. My fiancée’s drink… same issue even though it was a different drink. the lady behind the counter offered no smile. I give it 2 stars because of location, and while i didn’t like the drinks, they aren’t terrible, just not to mu personal liking.

This place has really gone downhill in the last year+. I USED to come here every single morning. I would even bring out-of-town guests with me when they visited just to show off what I considered to be the best local coffee stand. The girls that were there at the time were sooo super sweet, personable and really seemed to enjoy being there and serving you. Customer service at its finest! Then an Asian lady appeared and everything changed. I don’t know if the place got new owners or what happened but I never saw those smiley girls again. The daily special board was rarely changed(and even now has been stuck on «black bean latte» for months! Ew!), she refused to stamp my stamp card if I did happen to purchase the daily special(«it’s not our policy» really? Cause it was never a problem before? It wasn’t like I was asking you to stamp a free cup…) and no joke, I don’t think I’ve seen her smile even ONCE. One time in particular, my husband and I stopped in because we were stuck in the 164th crawl and I was having a caffeine fit. I ordered my usual and a) found the price had increased and b) was practically lectured because I only ordered 1 drink when she could clearly see two of us in the vehicle. Seriously, she made me feel ashamed that I wasn’t willing to give her more money; he simply wasn’t thirsty! I live close and drive by often and I honestly can’t remember the last time I saw a single car there much less a line. Just sell it already. Get someone in there that knows what they’re doing, gives a crap about the product and for God’s sake can SMILE! Definitely not getting my business again. Tip: If you’re in this area and find yourself needing a fix, head across the street and just slightly East. The name escapes me right now but there’s a lovely little stand in the parking lot of what used to be a church, right next door to the bread store/bakery. The location is admittedly difficult to maneuver if you’re intending to head West on 164th but worth it for the quality of product and SMILES! 1 star because of convenient location 1 star because although it’s not the BEST tasting coffee — it’s still not Starbucks. :/

Not very much local Coffee places around anymore and its sad. I understand the big name places that are around are ruling the coffee business but this is one place I will always go to. Not even those other small coffee drive through’s. This place is original and has the best coffee in town. no joke. The workers are fantastic, very kind and there is a reason why this place is still around by the lake. I will continue to go here always and i love everything about it! A++++++++++!!!

This may sound picky… but the drinks come up waaay to quickly. It’s as though they have espresso waiting/already brewed and they just mix it with milk and bam there’s my latte. It literally takes them less than 10 seconds to make my drink. I ran a successful coffee shop for years and it takes at least a minute to brew espresso and steam milk. The customer service is good. The Asian ladies are really nice and engaging. The white chick doesn’t talk very much. Let’s just say if there was a different espresso stand in vicinity to I-5 I’d go there instead.

I’ve passed by this place a few times but never thought of stopping in. It was heavy traffic one day so I decided to kill time until the traffic slow down and head to Pochi. The lattes are consistently good, the workers are extremely friendly. They make you just want to order more and more each visit, as if saying coffee is good for you lolz You have to try the soy marshmallow mocha. I never though soy would taste great with mocha, but i was wrong. Every since that traffic day i’ve been coming here quite often.

I enjoy going to this coffee shop. Always has great coffee, I usually order a Vanilla Latte and it never disappoints. The service is great and the employees are very friendly.

I’ve been driving a little bit out of my way to go here for a year now, so that tells you something! There are probably at least 4 more coffee drive-thrus between this place and my house, but I choose to go here. I’m a bad oil-guzzling hippie, I know. Anyhoo, the lattes are consistently good, and the people that work here seem genuinely friendly. That’s a big, big plus in my book. I can’t speak for the ice cream. I’m too distracted by coffee to even think about eating ice cream. However, this place is right across from the playground at Martha Lake, so good location for some ice cream action for the kiddos in the summertime. It is a drive-thru coffee stand, but apparently you *can* actually go in. I’ve just never done that. Perhaps I shall, one of these days. I promise to report back in. Stay tuned.
