So delicious, the pastries are incredible. The sandwiches are delicious. I love bringing home their loaves of bread to savor during the week. However, the coffee leaves a little to be desired, tastes harsh and sour. Mercury coffee is still the best coffee.

They have coffee bread! If you ever go to this place, you absolutely must try this bread. Scrumptious. Especially having it fresh warm out of the oven. Where I’m from, we call it Roti Boy.

I found this Bakery two years ago on one of my annual trips for Seafair from Sacramento. I was going to a dinner party and decided to take one of their cakes. The cake was a hit for being both creative in design and very flavorful. It was rich but not a heavy surgery cake. This year at the recommendation of «Keun Ryu» I tried the Green Tea Cake. I was amazed at how delicious it was. It’s a must try if you’ve never had Green Tea Cake.

This is a nice little Korean bakery with a decent selection of items. Each time we go to Hmart I like to try a new item from the bakery. So far my favorite items are the French toast and these little corn ball things were are so soft and fluffy and delicious. Don’t go close to closing if you want the best selection though. They have a lot less to choose from in the evening. The prices are a bit high. Each time I have gone the service has been friendly and they are nice about explaining what an item is or making recommendations based on what I’m looking for. I’ll be returning again soon!

I love the Bread Ball. It tastes like a croissant rolled up into a ball. I went to the bakery three times and finally I got 2 of them. It is so popular that you have to get there in the morning before it is sold out! I am going to try the croissant with sweet potato filling next. Yum!

Any place that has so many yummy looking pastries and cookies is hard to resist. I resisted temptation until I was given a sample of their«plain bread». This plain bread is a sweet bun with a crunchy top(for the ones who know what Dutch Crunch bread is, think Dutch Crunch but sweet). The texture was unusual because it seemed like a cross between a croissant and a scone. Not as heavy as a scone, but heavier than a croissant. This was delicious on it’s own but won’t taste as good the next day :( Sponge cake: Very light. Not as moist as I’d expected. I had to make sure I had a drink handy. Just felt I could choke on this. I found a piece of flour in the cake. That’s disappointing but the upside is, it wasn’t a piece of hair. LOL! The 3rd item: Will get to that shortly.

Everything about this bakery is above expectation for an Asian bakery, unfortunately, that includes price. The taste and quality of all of their products I tried are superb(for being outside of So Cal). But they charge premium. But supply and demand, right? They seem to be doing well, as near closing time, they pretty much run out of bakeries to sell.

Not a huge selection, but what they do offer is fresh and tasty. You can’t beat the price for the quality of Korean pastries you find here. My kids love the sugar-coated twisted donut and the cream-filled breads. My husband likes the vegetable croquette. They also have a sesame bun that is crusty and chewy — my mom’s favorite. What do I like? The convenience of being right outside of H-Mart and the friendly service.

I got some of their sandwich bread and a cream roll. Good stuff. The $ 5 minimum when using a debit card is kind of a pain considering it’s 2014, but that’s a minor issue. Not sure what they make their bread out of, but it’s the fluffiest stuff in the universe. Definitely a good place to stop by if you’re heading by H Mart, the theater or GameClucks.

Service is never particularly friendly, but I usually just dart in here to grab something tasty(melon pan! croissants! Shokupan!) when I visit Hmart. It’s not cheap, but I consider the treats here just that — a treat. Everything’s been tasty and fresh, so I don’t mind indulging every once in a while.

Sweet rice doughnuts… three words I thought I’d never utter in my wildest dream. First of all, I am not a fan of sweet or doughnuts. Apparently the universe heard it and decided to come up with this little evil thing. :) It’s doughy and sweet — very good in your Americano, I might suggest. It’s $ 1.50 each — if you buy 2, you get the 3rd free. While you’re in there, pick up some sweet corn manju too. It’s almost like Japanese mochi, only denser. It comes in 4 in one bag. They have matcha, coffee, and vanilla rolls that I often buy to bring to dinner parties. Their cookies and tarts are delicious too. Prices are ranging from $ 1.50 to $ 14.00(the rolls)… inexpensive. My friends and I usually visit Le Bön first, then H-Mart, then dine at the«food court». That way a. Le Bön won’t run out of our faves, b. we’ll have dessert after dinner(^_^). **Minimum purchase of $ 5 is required to use your credit card — never a problem for me or my peeps. Ha!

Don’t get me wrong, I loved the macarons here. They were crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside, with just enough filling in between the two cookies to hold them together, but not enough to overwhelm the taste of those perfect discs. I’d definitely say they were petite, smaller than the other ones I’ve seen… but still, for $ 5.99 per bag of cookies with about 10 in each bag, the price is not too bad.(I’m used to seeing $ 1.75 and up per macaron). However, as I am not grading Le Bön SOLELY on those, I can only give this establishment three stars. It’s «supposed» to be a French bakery, but it has almost only Asian-style breads and pasteries. It didn’t even have any croissants! And the bread stuffs I did end up trying were just so-so in flavor. I guess I would explain it by saying that everything tasted how it was supposed to, but was not the best. Also they were smaller than the ones in Chinatown, as well as more pricey. Final verdict: Not bad for Alderhood.

Pastries. Oh em how I love pastries! This little bakery is located in the same building as H-mart and is always tempting me to stop by. Most of the time I fight the urge and walk on by but one day I just HAD to have a pastry of some sort. There are so many different baked goods to choose from. I ended up getting a few things like the fresh peach danish and caramel cream filled horn. The danish I could get by with out but the caramel cream horn? So freaken delicious! Surprisingly it wasn’t overly sweet and there was a good ratio of cream to bread. I haven’t had any other goodies but I will stop by again… at some point. Prices are reasonable too, not a ridiculous $ 4 per pastry or something. By the way, its a $ 5 minimum for cards.

Im not really a fan of bread and anything of its kind… but Le Bön Patisserie sure has some really good bread. Price is a bit high for my pocket. but i dont mind spending that much for those goodies they have there. They often have some samples that are fresh out of the oven. Must try!

I love Asian Bakery. This is the first time I tried Korean Style. I loved it. I bought 3. I can’t remember what kind, two sweet and two savory or two savory and one sweet. Well, they were all really good. I finished up in 15 mins. A large selections of baked goods, cakes, bread, etc. Quick and friendly service Very clean display and«try me» station.

Decent at best, but when the options for Asian bakeries in the North end are this limited… It’s a 5 star for the North. The selection is varied and the breads are generally really good. The melon bun isn’t as doughy as I would like it, it likens more to the texture of regular bread, it’s still pretty good though. The products seem to be slightly hit or miss, sometimes I get fantastic product, other times I waste money. Overall it’s better than any oth choice for the north end(like Ranch) but when compared to some of the Asian bakeries in the ID, this spot just falls short. Solid, but nothing to write home about.

Really cute little bakery! This also was in that little Asian shopping mall that we stumbled upon. The husband and I wanted something sweet after our disappointing phở and came here. They had quite the selection of treats! I am giving it 3 stars partially because I was a little skeptical of some of the combinations of options… the idea of red bean bread and pastries doesn’t really appeal to me but maybe it’s a «real» Asian thing. The people in there were very friendly and and offered us tons of free samples. They had delicious sweet toast. The guy offered us a little bag so that we could take as many of the samples as we wanted which was nice, but we respectfully declined. Mike had a mini chocolate cake and I had a little plastic container of almond cookies. I loved my cookies and would give them 4 stars. Mike said he’d give his chocolate cake 3. Overall, cute place. I’d definitely stop by here again if I was in the neighborhood. I wouldn’t drive too long to go out of my way to get here, but if you’re in the area, it’s a cute little place.

Le Bön is an Asian bakery with European influences at the H Mart complex in Lynnwood. Like the businesses around, this is a Korean shop. There a lot of tasty treats to be found here including cakes, breads, buns, donuts and mochi. Some of the items are better than others. There were cake like with cream and filling on the side of the product that made it look hastily put together. There was manju here, but it felt kind of hard so I passed. In the end, I picked up a soboro bun($ 1.50), a custard bun($ 1.50) and sweet potato bread($ 3.99). The soboro bun was amazing. It is kind of like melon pan, which they also carry. Except soboro has more of the sweet crust. The custard bun was just okay, though I should have reheated it a bit. The filling was not as appetizing as I had hoped. The sweet potato bread is sweet as it should be. Love the flavor in it. It makes for a nice autumn breakfast starter. Overall, I like Le Bön. Though I was put off by some of the items. It is a taste thing I guess.
