History

Established in 2009.

Mattress City — Everett, Lynnwood, Auburn & Woodinville. Over the past 5 years, Mattress City has established itself as the best option for quality mattresses and bedroom sets in Everett, WA. Our goal is to provide the highest quality product available in a relaxed, family-​friendly environment. Unlike most mattress stores, our staff does not work on sales commission. We find that this reduces the pressure on our customers and leads to a more satisfying experience overall. Instead of pushing you to make a purchase, the friendly staff at Mattress City go out of their way to provide good information and answer any of your questions. Mattress City’s Owners, Stewart and Julie Patey, are longtime Snohomish County residents. Raising their family in the same community in which they operate, the Pateys saw a gap in mattress and bedroom stores serving Western Washington when it comes to adding a personal touch. So many retailers have lost sight of what a true customer experience is all about. In addition, many mattress stores have been throwing old mattresses into landfills when they could be donating them to local charities. They decided to open Mattress City to address these issues and provide quality mattresses to the community.
