Worst customer service! We bought a pair of shoes that was on display. Once we paid and left the store, we realized that there were marks on the shoes. When took it back for exchange(within 5 minutes of leaving the store), the associate refused to take them back. She said these marks may have been caused by us wearing the shoes! Mind you, the shoes were still in the box and we had bought them few minutes ago. She refused to exchange and we eventually returned the shoes. Not going back there again.

I have just bought a dress shoes for a week. I have worn it twice, it was ok in the 1st day. On the 2nd day, it hurt my toes badly. Today I took it back to the store for return. The cashier(I guess she is new staff) refused to take it back. She said it is because I wore the shoes outside! She showed me the handwritten note of her manager who is on vacation saying that No return is accepted(?!) She asked me to come back to see her manager in a week to fix the issue. Well, what a ridiculous policy management they are doing. As long as the return is within the time frame, if the merchandise doesn’t work or customers don’t want it, they should take it back. Look to Walmart & other stores’ return policy for improvement.

I was just in here the other day and received really great customer service, the shoes I had asked to lay away were also there as requested. The only reason I’m giving 4 instead of 5 stars is because the shoe quality isn’t very good. That being said, what can one expect for a cheap shoe?

So we were back to school shopping(cue the Jaws music here…5 kids out school shopping?), we were at the WalMart across the lot for clothes but their shoe selection stinks so we went over to Payless to take advantage of the BOGO sale going on. We were greeted by a very cheery woman, asking if anyone needed to be sized. We had her size 2 of the kids and we were good to go! She showed us the aisle we would find what we needed in and told us to let her know if we had any questions. The girls picked out their shoes and we went to the register, she asked if we needed socks, we said no, we were done! Very nice salespeople, bigger than the Northgate location we usually go to, the girls love their new shoes, under $ 25 for 2 pairs of shoes, can’t get much better than that!

my experience was different here. i was looking for a pair of heels. not any pumps… but THE pumps. with hearts and a smaller heel… it was one of the most comfortable pumps i’ve ever had. i needed to find more before they discontinued it. i liked everywhere in NYC but they were either sold out… or didn’t carry any of them in my size anymore. i was deeply disappointed for awhile. so, on my trip back to Seattle– i decided to look for the same pumps at the Alderwood location. no luck. then i drove up to this one… located conveniently in the Walmart parking lot. the associate immediately greeted me and asked how she can help me. there was no one else in the store– but she took the time to look for my shoes. she found some in the back room… and even in different colors. oh!!! am i a happy camper. she saved the day. =)

I needed some shoes and was on a budget, so I wandered into this shoe store on a whim one day. The main point of attraction was a giant poster on the front window. It pictured several lovely shoe offerings, including a slipper-type shoe that really struck my fancy, and boasted a $ 12.99 price beneath them. I found said slipper shoe immediately. The price on the box stated $ 16.99, but I assumed the sale price would be given at the register. SELECTION: They have a lot to choose form here. One of the problems I’d found at department stores, was the poor selection. One place would have a bunch of clog-type shoes, while another had a plethora of boots. I was looking for something easy to put on and comfortable to walk in while I ran errands. I found many options that fit the bill at Payless. SALES: They supposedly had a lot of great sales going on. I say«supposedly» for a reason — which I will get to momentarily. CUSTOMERSERVICE: There was none. I looked for someone to ask about the slipper shoes that had a higher priced than advertised, and the only employee in sight was behind a counter and waiting on a line of customers. OVERALLEXPERIENCE: I ultimately selected the original shoes and a pair of «Airwalk» brand trainers that were normally $ 27.99 but resting beneath a sign that said«AIRWALKSNEAKERSNORMALLY $ 27.99ONSALEFOR $ 19.99». I placed the shoe son the counter when it was my turn, and the cashier rang up the slippers. They came up as $ 16.99, so I pointed out that they were supposed to be on sale. «Oh, it must not be these,» she said, shoving them in a bag. Hello? There is a giant picture of these very shoes hanging outside on the store, stating $ 12.99. I didn’t really get a chance to go into this particular detail, because she’d rung up the Airwalks and they had come up as $ 27.99. I pointed this out, and she told me coolly that«those particular ones were not on sale». She’d already picked up my credit card off the counter and run it through, and I needed shoes, so I decided not to argue the point despite the $ 11 over-charge. I actually regret this now, but I was annoyed, and tired and just wanted to flee the Devil Store. BOTTOMLINE: I most likely won’t shop here again. This isn’t a place I’d recommend if you are looking for a shoe store that will honor their advertisements and sale prices.
