I understand that I parked in a Gyros Delight parking lot when that parking is for Gyros Delight parking only, and I wasn’t there for their business. I was there for B3 next door. But Gyros Delight wasn’t open, so I didn’t think I was impeding business. But they towed me, and now I can’t even get my car out because they’re closed? Half an hour after the fact? They can call someone in, but it’ll cost me 100 bucks extra? These guys are crooks!!! I will be reporting this to the Bureau, and seeking legal action if possible. Who delights in making money off of the suffering of others? Crooks. These are terrible people.

UNPROFESSIONAL STAFF, DELAYED SERVICE, & and HIGH RATES!!! They charge for the time of their late staff!!! What a rip off !!! Jordan, the fat guy with limping leg is very rude and unprofessional. After making an appointment at 7pm, we drove an hour and they were late. Jordan, Joe and another guy got there at 7:30 with arrogance and no apologies for being late. WA Highway patrol and people should stop using this people. I will report this business to the bureau!!!

I would rather push my car 100 miles in the pouring rain than deal with this company again.

My car got towed this morning, they picked up around 9am. I called them at11:22am I was told it would be $ 296 to get my car out of impound and that I could come pick it up. When I arrived at 11:54 I was told that I could not pick up my car because the county had not verified me as the registered owner. I asked the employee to call the county again, she refused. «You just have to wait for the county» I offered to pay for my car then so it would be easier when I came to pick it up. She then informed me that their credit card machine no longer works and they only accept cash. This should have been mentioned when I called, it is not normal to be cash only. Anyway they still have my truck and I’m pretty sure they are going to try to charge me more
They did end up charging an additional $ 60. It has taken them 10 mins to open the lot so I can get my truck

Completely unfriendly and ridiculous… is customer service lost on these people? If I am going to give you money, I expect at least some common courtesy… obviously these people get enough business that they don’t think they have to be kind to people… well they didn’t get my money… do NOT give them yours!!!

This business engages in what appears to be unfair pricing and business practices. Here’s a link to a news article on Komo about their less than savory business practice.
Anyhow, they towed a friend’s car on Christmas Eve and then told her that she could come to pick it up on Saturday. They postponed the appointment 3 times on Saturday, then told her to pick it up on Monday. My friend didn’t speak English very well and couldn’t advocate for herself. Meanwhile, fees for calculated at $ 95 per day. They finally agreed to let her pick it up on Sunday, but they charged her for Saturday even though they canceled on her about pick up. I went along with her to advocate for her, but the guy who was there, who I now know was the manager, lied to my face that he wasn’t the manager and that he was just an employee who wasn’t authorized to make any decisions. The total bill came to $ 719. He charged her for 3 days of impound, $ 250 for towing, $ 77 for ‘gate opening’ and taxes. He also wouldn’t take credit cards. He INSISTED she paid in cash, so on Sunday night, she had to run around to borrow money to get her car so that she could drive it to work on Monday. The guy whose name was Brandt, didn’t blink a bit when we told him how unreasonable it was for him to charge Saturday when it was his own fault that we couldn’t pick it up on Saturday.
This place is TERRIBLE and it preys on people. Please report their unfair practices to this state’s Attorney General’s office. If consumers don’t file complaints against businesses like this one, their predatory practices will not stop.

These guys really pissed me off.
Yesterday, my brother wrecked his car, running into a light pole in a parking lot in Lynnwood. He called me to to get a ride and to help make arrangements for the car.
We called Shannon towing because it was the first company that popped up on a google search.
I called to ask about their rates, and the dispatcher told me that towing costs a flat 80 dollar fee, with an additional surcharge of 5 dollars per mile.
I told them to send the truck out.
When the driver showed up, he was on his phone. Approaching the truck, I was informed that I had apparently, mislead them about our situation.
(Although, as I recall, the conversation with the dispatcher was short, and was basically: How much will it cost to get my car towed? Great. Send it.)
The driver told me that because the car had been wrecked, and was sitting in ankle deep water, it was going to cost a little extra.
My brother and I pushed the car out of the ankle deep, freezing cold water while the driver watched. (By the way, his truck had a perfectly servicable winch. –Real dickhead move, here…)
He raised the car on the lift, and towed us back to the house. (3.5 miles)
We were then presented with a 235 dollar towing bill. When we disputed it, the driver told us to call the dispatcher. The dispatcher reiterated that I had mislead them about the gravity of our situation.
I told her that the driver watched us push the car out of the water, and that she was effectively charging us FOR OUR OWN LABOUR.
Sheput me on hold to call the driver, and they discussed it (within earshot). When she returned, she knocked 50 bucks off the price.
So, what should have cost a smidge over 100 dollars wound up costing us 185 dollars.
A couple of reasons why this whole scenario was complete bullshit:
–There was nothing wrong with the car’s drivetrain, so «your vehicle is wrecked» is a weak argument.
–I didn’t mislead her. I told her we needed a tow. It’s not my job to ask questions. It’s HER job, as a DISPATCHER, to gather information, and make decisions about what sort of equipment is needed. FAIL.
–The «bait and switch». Obvious abuse. But, the best part is that they waited until AFTER they’d performed the service to tell us just how far off their estimate was.
–She tried to charge us an hourly rate on 10 minutes worth of work.
I suspect that the reason they charge more for «accidents» has nothing to do with it being more work, and everything to do with the fact that, for ordinary towing jobs, there are laws to protect consumers from this type of abuse. But with an accident, maybe that all goes out the window?
Anyway, I’d give them zero stars if I could. It’s rare that any company pisses me off as much as these guys did. If you need to get towed, call anyone else.
**In response to a not terribly nice comment I got about this review, I figured I would tell you guys how I «mislead» the dispatcher. I called and told her I had a disabled vehicle that needed a tow. Since the damage to the vehicle was limited to the front bumper (which disabled the gas lockout), I don’t feel that this is an inaccurate statement.**
And, secondly, I’d like to point out that there’s no reason for anyone to write an abusive comment about my review. –Unless they work for, or have ties to, Shannon Towing. Which to me, is just another stain on their reputation.
