History

Established in 1972.

Woodcraft Inc. was established by Dieter Zajaczkowski in 1972. Born and raised in Germany, he attended Kerschensteiner Meisterschule where he completed a rigorous Masters Program as a Tischlermeister (Furniture Maker) and Schreinermeister (Cabinet Maker). He brought his family and his expertise to the United States, where he established Woodcraft.

Dieter’s son, Steve, was raised in the family business and apprenticed under his father. He began developing his craft at a very early age. Years of experience have advanced Steve’s skills as a Master Craftsman and Project Manager. Now in its second generation, Woodcraft Inc. is owned by Steve Zajaczkowski and his wife Mary.
