Plaza Mexico, a place where one could come and meet our future President. …Hilary Clinton. And those who you might think don’t have a voice Do! Only in the USA, GOD BLESS OUR COUNTRY.

Great place to visit on a Sunday with your family, it’s full of stores and restaurants in addition to multiple attractions like live music among other fun activities for the kids., come and enjoy a margarita while singing with the mariachi at la huasteca restaurant.

Plaza Mexico has changed over the past years, it use to be the market place and it was more of a swap meet. The shops inside still give off a swap meet vibe theres a few different shops with shoes, jewelry, and even a pet shop. Now the reason I like this place is for the Mexican goodies and snacks, tostilocos, horchata, bionicos, there’s a few food restaurants. There’s a Gallo hiro and the broiling crab on the outside and they have replicas of Mexican monument. There’s even a carousel for the kids on the long Beach Blvd side. Parking is horrible and a lot of traffic builds up and all ends of the Plaza, the 105 Bei g right next to the place doesn’t help. Some people are friendly but for some reason a lot of people seem to just stare if yoh are not dressed in their style.

Great place to bring the family on a day off. They have a lot of shops and things to eat but make sure you take out cash. Prices are good too

I’ve driven by this mall off the 105 freeway for years and the marquis with its giant flashing signs always intrigued me. Well low and behold I finally get to visit this place for a business related luncheon.
As far as Mexican architecture, it is as authentic as the Italian architecture of The Grove which means on a scale of 1 – 10 in authenticity and 10 being the highest it’s a 2. Don’t get me wrong I definitely felt like I took a trip outside of the US as I walked around with my Caucasian colleague and everyone just gave us this look like we were lost. We weren’t lost, we were suppose to be here. Trust us we are Angelenos.
This mall felt more like a swap meet with walls, as most of the stores were empty, shops closed and barely any recognizable chain stores other than the Children’s place. I felt like a tourist but this is not exactly the place I would take visitors to LA, since this is the kind of place you would never advertise on a post card.
I’ve never been to Lynwood, but once you drive out of the mall area, you definitely get a feel for the local flair… Think 90s rap video and setting the stage for a drive by. Been here, done that and curiosity has been satisfied.

I’ve had the pleasure of visiting this Mexico inspired plaza for many, many years. The architecture and monuments located outside are simply breath taking. This little piece of the motherland is located in the city of Lynwood and its gained a lot of media popularity through out the years. It’s frequented by both locals and tourist from all walks of life.
The inside of the plaza is two story’s full of little shops from clothes, shoes, jewelry, a nail shop, an upstairs food court, and a downstairs section dedicated to the sell of delicious Mexican snacks such as: raspados, tostilocos, and pan dulce.
The outside of the plaza, my favorite section by the way, is where the most visited shops and eateries are located. I love shopping at G-​Stage and Fashion Ave. There is also the delicious La Huasteca Restaurant. What is not to love about a restaurant with an awesome live Mariachi and mouth watering food? The plaza has recently welcomed The Kickin’ Crab to their family which has become a big hot spot here.
The environment is family friendly. You can bring your kids to ride the beautiful two story carousel for $ 3 per person per ride. There’s frozen yogurt, ice cream shops, a Chuck E. Cheese, and the plaza tends to host a lot of radio and television events regularly.
Please, stay away from the back of the plaza which is located alongside Long Beach Blvd. You’ll be bombarded by panhandlers left and right with little to no security available. It’s crowded but that does not guarantee safety. I recently had a bad experience regarding this issue.
Finding parking during the week is not a problem especially if you visit during the morning hours. Parking on Saturdays and Sunday’s can tend to be a bit hectic but you’re almost always guaranteed to find a spot.

Plaza Mexico is a pretty cool spot.
I’ve been living in lynwood for a lonnngg longg time and this is always my go to when i need last minute clothes or shoes.
LOVE G stage & Fashion avenue: super cute trendy clothes at a great price. They always have the newest styles and it doesn’t cost an arm and an ass like at the mall. you can get a bunch of stuff for like $ 60 – 70 as opposed to buying a pair of jeans for $ 70 at the mall. hell no!
Pang pang upstairs (they make THE best chocolate, banana, and peanut butter smoothies. better than jamba juice BY FAR)
upstairs there is also a sushi place called Happy Rice nestled in the corner. FANTASTIC! from their fresh sushi rolls to their chicken katsu. very very delicious!
The newest addition to Plaza Mexico that just makes my heart sing is the Kickin crab! it’s a lot like The boiling crab and it’s AWESOME!

Do not try to go take glamour pictures there! They rip you off they say its 30 dollars then they want to charge you 65 and not even give u the one u paid 30 for! Rip off!

As close you will get to a feeling like you are in mexico. Great food and atmosphere, weekend music is the best and the market fruit/​veggies stands are awesome!

Este lugar es divertido pero el parking es un terror. Y el tiempo que te tomas para buscar parkeadera y luego para esperar a comer en los lugares alli tambien es una línea. Por eso les doy un 4. Aparte de eso, allí puedes encontrar de todo, Zapatos, Ropa, Para tomar Fotos, Joyeria, Comida. Es tipo swapmeet. Esta Chido.

The area it self not so god. Don’t get lost lol the parking situation is horrific so there early. The food is good. This place feels like an indoor version of the alleys in LA and a mix of Olvera at. The day we came a famous soccer player was there.

The food court «Rubens taco» over priced flavorless undercooked burrito. Very much not worth the time to stop here. Disgusted

I’ve been a Resident of Plaza Mexico before it was called that. By Resident, I mean, the Child of a Store Owner.
Plaza Mexico used to be called the Swap Meet which was more like a building with stores in it.
It gradually changed into what it is today. (a good thing cause of the power outages before)
Today, its more of Center place for Mexican like Events and Mexican like Stores.
On the first floor, you’ll mostly find Clothing Stores, Electronics, Jewelry, Beauty Products, Shoe Stores, Photo Stores and Car Related Stuff. Now that’s all in the Front Area of the 1^st floor. on the back, it gets more market like.
The markets on the back are like any market, one is for fruits, a small market, a Laundry place, Bakery, Pet Store, and a few small restaurants but its more Mexican type of stores.
On the 2^nd Floor, you get a shoe store, clothing stores (more for girls than guys) Massage Room aka room with 5 min massage chairs for a dollar. A Nail Salon, Lingerie Store, a small 99 cents store, Insurance Store, Cowboy Store (I call it that) Bathrooms for Guys and Girls Separated Really Far away from each other.
There’s Also a Food Court right next to a small arcade. Most of the Food Court Stores Accept Cash Only or have a high Debit /​Credit Minimum.
The Arcade used to be a Quarter Arcade but they upgraded into a Card System like Game Works.
The Escalator is in the middle of Plaza Mexico. There is another one but it only goes up. There are 2 Elevators but they are a bit hidden, So its best to ask around if you have a Stroller with you.
Outside of Plaza Mexico, Its kinda like a Mexican Village… well, it depends on which side your on. if your on the West Side, yes. East Side, no.
Nearby is Hometown Buffet, Curaçao, Chuck e Cheese, Merry go Round and Other Stuff.

Wow, welcome to Mexico. This place feels like I just crossed the border. They have restaurants all over the place and everything that you could probably want to buy in Mexico but here at this place. I gave it three stars because a lot of the surrounding areas in the plaza need some maintenance, and if you need to use the restroom you have to go to the second floor and they’re not the cleanest. It’s also designed in such a way that if you make a wrong turn us up at the fact and you have to walk all the way back around access the other stores on the other side of the plaza. it is a nice place to visit. I heard that there are one or two really good Mexican restaurant, I will have to come back and check those out

From the 105 Fwy, City of Lynwood… a Plaza with piece of Mexico! Take note that the parking lot is a 3hr parking only, but If u don’t mind the extra walk there’s a parking spot area behind chuckee-​cheese and guess what no signs !!! ;) there is plenty to shop from clothing, shoes, purses, toys, house items food.
They have a carousel a train ride that goes out in parking lot, restaurants to choose from I recommend Real de Oaxaca –yummmmmmy! Very welcoming, clean and nice customer service. There is a big indoor swap meet, this too has to do with my 3 stars rating unfortunately you go to swap meet for Cheaper non– brand deals or bargain but a lot of these stores were highly $$ In that case I shop at the outlets w/​name brands! Other than that it’s a place to still go and check out, eat w/​some smart shopping.

Plaza Mexico is a shopping center, there is entertainment, small businesses, and food. Everything you need will mostly likely be there. There is an area outside and inside as well filled with small stores. They can range from clothing stores, electronics, jewelry, and beauty.
Since it is called Plaza Mexico, there is a section inside that sells nothing but Mexican candy and food. It has a very authentic feel to it when you go inside. That place has been featured on live television, they hold events such as Univison Deportes which deals with soccer, Festivals, and Bandas. The environment is peaceful and fun, there is even a carousel for the kids.
A great place to go to for quick shopping and sometimes the stores inside look for help, so a good place to start off for a job. It is never too pack at Plaza Mexico except for when there are events. Customer service depends on each store, there are some rude employees, so be aware of that. The place is worth trying out for any Mexican item necessities, they even sell traditional clothing.

Cool place right off the 105 fwy long beach blvd. it’s great to bring the whole fam. Great spot for food, snacks, or just a Iced coffee. They have a food court upstairs something for everyone, with arcade for the kiddos.
Shopping center that has Everything you need under one roof. Great deals for clothes and shoes. They even have a spot for mani/​pedi and a fresh fruit and veg market. Mexican bakery inside as well as great stores like Gstage, Sketchers outlet, hometown buffet, dennys. Cool café spot with outside seating. There are two fancy Mexican restaurants at the plaza if you are celebrating and want to do some shopping.
Parking gets kinda crowded. Happy shopping !

There is always something going on here. This place pretty much always has people here too. The vibe is typical Lynwood and the restaurants/​snack shops hold it down. My only complain is parking, so bring your best behavior and be very patient when it comes to parking. Once you have parked, feel free to be as aggressive as you need to be on foot to make up for it. There are too many crazy people that think that parking lot is a freeway. Anyways, check out the paletas by the outdoor escalator, and some of the chili fruit snacks inside over by the pet store area. And bring vas unless you’re a huge fan of ATM fees.

Plaza Mexico is an awesome place to take your friends and family. You will find an assortment of great traditional Mexican eateries and stores. This shopping center has a very ethnic feel to it and I mean that in the most positive of ways.
When I’m in the mood for some serious Mexican food or shopping for Mexican items, this mall has some really awesome options for you.

Plaza has some good stores and kid friendly with events and activities they offer.
Besides that parking sucks, looks dirty around the neighborhood, lots of security that makes you feel unsafe.
Wouldn’t waste my time coming here again.
