Winchell’s Doughnut House

Yesterday I went to go visit Winchells donuts and I purchased three chicken fillet bagels unfortunately I received three chicken fillet croissants. I call the store and I informed them of the error. So I was offered to get replacements on my meals. So I pass today to pick up my meals I was told to ask for the manager yes I did and she assisted me in the window and told me that she will deliver my food to go park as the person comes to the window was not the manager was the previous employee that help me out the day before. I really think that if you as a manager say that you’re going to help the customer you should finish what you said I was pretty disappointed for the fact that you sent an employee to come and apologized to me when we could’ve spoken about the mistake the mistake was not made by the employee. Simply that you guys need to replace the intercom it’s too low.

If I could give this place a negative amount I definitely would. THIS WINCHELL’S IS THE WORSE!!! First off, when taking our order through the drive thru, the lady was confused but we were just reading exactly what it said on the menu. Second, when telling us our total, she was hard to understand so we gave her the wrong amount of change, she never corrected us or anything. Third, their advertisement for 14 donut holes for $ 2.49 showed a variety of different donut holes including ones with sprinkles, chocolate sprinkles, etc. all I received were plain glazed donut holes. I’m sorry to curse but FUCK this joint. Super disappointed.

7:15 in the morning and their glazed donuts taste like they were made days ago, definitely not fresh. Bummer!
Service was quick and friendly today.

Worst service stood in front counter starring at the cashier for five min before she even acknowledged me
Then I ordered and took them for ever, the cheese Danish was hard and cold.
He place is dirty.

Came in for a ranchero bagel asked if they had change for a $ 100 they said no so I only had change for a plan bagel. The guy behind me orders and his total is 6.53 and pays with a $ 100 and they give him change Pretty upset.

If I could I’ll give them no stars whatsoever. I like winchells but this place is beyond slow. It has a drive thru but you still have to until like 20 – 25 to get out of here and that’s wit 3 cars in the drive thru either the employees don’t know how to multitask or they just don’t care about business. I been waiting at the ordering speaker for 10 mins now while the car in the front is being charged or whatever the heck they r doing why can’t they not take my deng order SLOW I rather go to the one by my home. This place sux why have a drive thru it’s pointless.

I am giving this location a 1 star. Just because i love winchells. But this location has bad customer service i spent 20 minutes waiting in line. I ordered 4 cappuchinos and they only filled less than half of my cups (no wip cream). They didnt give me my donuts correctly even though i said it 4 times. They asked me to wait 10 more minutes for my other sandwich. I can understand if the place was busy but it was not. I will no longer stop at this winchell so avoid the hassel and drive to Tierra Mia or Starbucks. They are right at the corner.

Does anyone know when this winchell’s was built and open for business? I have a bet going on. I think I remember it was open during summer of 2003.

Went to the drive thru last night and the first word I get from a winchells employee is «WHAT.» What the hell is more like it when u get a response like that. Never had I had such an unprofessional response in my life. Literally! After hearing that, I just laughed at her and left. Didn’t order anything cuz I did not want to make this company to make a profit for hiring these unqualified people. I’ve had 2 other experiences where the service was bad before from this same place but I had to right a review (my first ever by the way) about this awful experience. Their service an attitude was so bad, I’m writing my first review about it. Needless to stay 3^rd times a charm for me and I definitely won’t be coming back to this untrained, unprofessional place again. I’ve heard yum yum is around the corner and give excellent service. Going to take my business over there.

We asked for a regular size coffee. The girl the says ‘ok a large’. I said ‘no, regular is medium’. That’s has always been the norm in coffee shops. Then I said, ‘not a large, a medium please’. She turns to the coworker and gives her the ‘omg this customer is an idiot’ look and just stands there. I ask her to point out which one is the medium and got no response. I ended up ordering the medium but just for who with I was. I did not feel like bothering her for a second medium for me. People like her should not work where they have to interact with other people. Needless to say, I am never going there again.

Oh NO!
This place is a no no! I just had a coffee from here and it was watered down! It tasted like 90% water 10% coffee. I will not be returning here. I will go to my usual Yum Yum down the street.

Horrible service. I just called to place an order and the guy who answered did not speak English and told me to order in spanish. When I asked to speak with someone who spoke English he hung up on me.

the donuts are fair. coffee is also pretty good. but umm, Winchells… can you maybe NOT hire people who don’t speak ANY english to work in a DRIVE THRU? I know that Lynwood has a large hispanic population, but that doesn’t mean that everyone speaks spanish. When you first pull up you hear «welcome to winchells, how may i help you» completely in spanish and when you don’t speak spanish then they ask you to pull up to the drive thru and then you basically have to do sign language to make your order.
I do speak spanish, but that isn’t the point. If you’re working in a drive thru then you should know more english than «coffee, thank you, and hello».That’s just not cool.

Donuts were drenched in oil. Will definitely not be coming back.

Horrible! Went through the drive-​thru. ordered. told me to pull up to the window. After EIGHT minutes, a girl inside saw me and gave me a very questionable look. Another lady came to the window and asked how she could help me.
Ummmm? Are you serious?
I ordered 8 minutes ago and I’m still waiting for my drink.
Never coming here again.

Very rude employees that don’t even realize there’s a line of customers waiting to get helped, their so busy having conversations with each other.

I love that it has a drive thru but I was waiting for like 5mins. I honked and has to finally drive up to the window and knock. I bought ½ a dozen. They looked delish but when I sank my teeth in they were not fluffy :-(idk if they messed up the dough or they were just old. But I give them a two star. Honestly I won’t be going back.

Very rare that I come to this location but every time I go there is only one person working attending both the front and drive thru takes a long time to get your order

Perfect Winchells for on the go coffee! Had all the donuts stocked and ready to go. They were bilingual so there wont be any language barriers here. Give them a try in the morning.
Didn’t get greeted or anything could have had better customer service but I guess they were rushed as they had a couple of people there. The donut and coffee were really fresh so try it!
