History

Established in 1993.

Founded by sailing enthusiasts Eric and Tamara Barto, Paragon Sailing Charters has been recognized as the fastest sailing catamaran company in the state of Hawai’i. With the addition of a second vessel, Paragon II, to the sister vessel Paragon, Tamara and Eric were able to expand operations to four tours running out of Ma’alaea and Lahaina harbor. Each tour is based upon the Barto’s love of the ocean and sailing. Even the boat names, «Paragon», reflects their passion in creating the most personal, exclusive tours for the visitors of Maui. To this day, their passion for customer service is reflected in the quality of their tours and the commitment of their crew to provide each passenger with a unique and memorable experience.
