Blue Wave is an authorized Coast Spas dealer and service center. We service many makes and models of hot tubs. Blue Wave opens and closes swimming pools around the Greater Rochester New York area.

Pools & Spas — How it All Started

When Sunbeam Pool & Spa in Rochester closed in 2009, Sales Manager, John Hanfland, and Spa Service Manager, Ed Chapman, decided to start their own swimming pool & spa company — Blue Wave Pool & Spa was born!

Ed began his career as a teenager working summers installing and servicing above ground pools while employed at his fathers home improvement company. While attending college Ed worked summers at Design Pool & Spa in Fairport before going to work at Clover Home Leisure where he met and worked with John. Eventually Ed and John went to work for Sunbeam Pool & Spa.

John and Ed have combined 50+ years of pool and spa experience. At Blue Wave, we are the only pool and spa company that provides outstanding service and low warehouse-​direct prices — The Blue Wave Difference.
