Amazing seating! What could be better than reclining chairs to watch your favorite movie?

Holy crap! $ 10 for a glass of wine (the bottle of that brand is only $ 10!) :-(The prices suck for food and drinks– especially alcohol. but the movie experience is good.

I love this theatre! I recommend it to everyone for their comfy seats and food service. I haven’t been to another theatre since they opened this one. My boyfriend and I are quite the movie-​goers and we live right around the corner, so we’ve definitely spent lots of weekend time here. However, my last experience left me giving this place two stars. We walked in, my boyfriend ordered a quesadilla and I ordered a pizza both to be delivered to our seats. Shortly after the show started, my boyfriends quesadilla came. Since he gave the girl the ticket I mentioned «I ordered a pizza too» so she would know where to come back. «It will only be a little longer» she said and off she went. An hour into the show and I finally decided it wasn’t coming. When I went out there every single employee was standing around the counter talking and carrying on. I said «I ordered a margarita pizza a long time ago» the cook behind the counter was extremely apologetic about it as he pulled my box out of a little warmer and gave it to me. (Although he always forgets my ranch.) anyway the thing that bothered me was the girls attitude. She’s like «it was me I forgot where you sat» no you didn’t. Another girl says «oh you guys lost another ticket. Nice!» I think this theatre needs to hire less high schoolers and more people who aren’t careless jerks. I’m afraid if they don’t, they will start to lose a lot of business. Also the bathrooms are always crowded and getting pretty gross.

When I first walked in. It was like I was walking into a casino! I was so excited, there is a line of food service and drinks. Plus free refills on drinks! I will never pay for a AMC or MJR again when you can get this for the same price !

Theatre is nice but the pizza is horrendous. We order the pepperoni and the barbecue and were shocked at how bad they were. We should have taken them back but it was during the movie so we just suffered

I finally went to Emagine! I’m not sure I can go to another theater now, it really is that nice and the best part is you aren’t paying any more that any other theater.

I really like this theatre. I’ve seen several movies here, including ones sold out like Star Wars. I really do like the reserved seating system when buying tickets in advance to sold out shows, as there is no need to rush to the theatre super early to get a good seat. The bar is nice, although beer in a plastic cup doesn’t really turn me on, but I suppose if I want beer a bar is where I should go anyways. The design of the recliners is perfect, the arm rests are wide enough to allow the adjoining person to share. There’s no need to scooch up to allow others to get by. I really appreciate that the theatre is not over-​priced, as I can appreciate that this seating design provides for a lower capacity. The food here is good, makes the dinner and a movie combo a one stop opportunity. Everything about my movie experiences here has been good. This is my number one goto movie spot.

As something new and exciting opens we must try it out. On a gloomy Michigan day, what else to do than take the kids to see a movie? We stumbled upon this theater by word of mouth and we are in love with the newest establishment that hit our area. My children absolutely love this theater and refuse to go elsewhere! Not only does it have a full service menu, bar, and the «lazy-​boy» seats that make you never want to leave, it has fun friendly staff. Even though still «new» the environment is very laid back as you enter the doors you have the choice of either visiting the service cashiers or obtaining your tickets via kiosk (easy, and saves time) you then collect your drinks or edible items of choice — they bring your food to you after its been cooked which lessons wait time in lines and possible spillage of said food by crowded areas?! Now here’s the best part… The seating! Oh the wonderful, widened leather reclining seating! Genius! This is epitome of luxury movie watching. Anyone who is anyone will fall in love with this theater… See for yourself!
My only suggestion is bring a light jacket or something to cover as it does get a little chilly…

GORGEOUS theatre! It blows my mind that this place used to be a Kroger. Staff is friendly and while the lines for food can get long, they move fast! I love that they deliver food right to your seats and the seats? OMG amazing. It’s like watching a movie in your living room but 100x better. I have no idea why anyone would go to another theatre.

I’ve been an avid movie fan for as long as I can remember. I’ve been to many theatres big and small. Emagine Theatres are hands down the best experience I’ve had. The only place that comes close is the Alamo Theatre in Kalamazoo.
This place has it all frankly. Starting with the lobby, it has a great atmosphere. Player piano, screens with easy to read information, plenty of self-​pickup kiosks, and an open bar of you’re so inclined. I’m here often at the early showings around 10−11am and the bar is open even then. I don’t really drink at theatres but I think this is cool anyway.
The bathrooms are elegant and completely hands-​free. I love when urinals, sinks, soap, and paper towels are all automated. It’s clean and convenient. From there you might be inclined to pick up snacks. There’s quite a vast array of options including even slushy machines. There’s also one of those Coke machines with tens upon tens of options. Pricing is comparable to other establishments but I feel like this place is well valued and particularly fair with refills or combos.
Then there’s the theatres themselves. This is my favorite aspect of Emagine Theatres. Seats are leather and comfortable. They all recline both on the back and at the legs. Cup holders for everyone and enough leg room so that even when reclined people won’t have a problem passing you. The sound and screens are fantastic as well. I’ve never had an unpleasant experience and I’m constantly impressed that this location used to be a Kroger.
The only disappointing factor compared to another great theatre chain like MJR is the fact that early morning films are still pricey. I’m seeing a movie this morning which starts before 11am and I’m still paying $ 8 a person. Still, you get some luxury and comfort for your trouble.

The best movie going experience!!!
I just wish it was larger and they played some christian based movies.

This place is by far my favorite place to see a movie.
It is very reasonably priced.
The theaters are new and top notch. Sound system is amazing. You sit in a very comfortable recliner in the theater.
If you order food, they will actually bring it to you at your seat.
If you choose to do so, you can take advantage of their bar in the lobby. You can buy and take a drink into your theater as well.
I really wish more theaters were like this. I live near Port Huron, but I will gladly drive 30 minutes to see a movie here rather than see a movie at any of our local theaters.

The theater seats were nice and spacious, mine however kept malfunctioning, and I swear you could set your watch to it. Every fifteen minutes the seat would gradually go back to it’s original position. Theater was nice and clean, restrooms were also clean. Food was way over priced, I understand movie theaters get pricey but this was a joke. We spent $ 90 for tickets and food for four people. Also disappointed that we couldn’t sit together. They split are seats up, don’t know if it was because people ordered online or what but that was a bummer.
Won’t go back not worth it, I’ll sit at home and enjoy my 90″ tv with great surround and no idiots talking around me.

In my 4 experiences at this Emagine theater, I can’t think of one complaint. Everything seems reasonably priced considering the price of their competition. Yeah, it’s more money than you’d want to pay to see a movie, but that’s what you need to expect in 2015.
This place is no more expensive than any other theater, yet, it’s a much more satisfying experience. The staff is helpful, and the overall experience is above average every time.
(Granted I’ve only gone during the week)

I love the movie-​going experience. I don’t really care how expensive it gets, I will always go to the theater to see the latest in cinematic greatness (or failure…). The beauty of the movie theater is that you get to judge whether or not a movie is great while viewing it on the big screen. This location is a nice meeting place for my friends and I due to its location. The price is actually quite reasonable as well, considering the fact that you get to park your tush in an incredibly comfy recliner.
The things I love about this theater:
— The lobby is just fantastic. When I walked in for the first time, I thought I was walking into a movie theater in Las Vegas. The lobby is very clean and there are plenty of places to sit and enjoy the company of your friends while waiting for your movie to start.
— The only seating in this theater is the cozy recliners :)
— The popcorn is awesome and the coke machines always work.
— Everything is always clean! All of the self-​serve concessions (pop, slushee machines) are always looked after by the attentive staff. The theaters are always clean too and don’t smell like a locker room (clean it up, AMC).
— The theaters are comfortable and inviting. There’s plenty of room to spread out and relax. Now if only the airlines could get with the program ;)
This place is great. See my review for the Emagine Rochester to get my views on Paul Glantz’s incredibly stupid movie spoofs. I won’t go down that rabbit hole again. My only other complaint would be the sound. The sound in the theater lacks a little something. It depends on the day. The sound for the previews is really nice, but when the movie starts, either the background sounds are really low or the voices in the center channels are really low. I have to give proper recognition to AMC Forum 30 for getting the sound right (although sometimes the sound there is so loud it’s a tad obnoxious… but I dig it).
Come here and enjoy some movies. I’ve seen plenty of good and bad movies at this location and I’ll keep going back. Don’t expect much from the rewards program at this point (another solid nod to the AMC folks for getting their rewards program in order). The Emagine folks just rebooted their rewards program and it looks pretty promising.

Why go anywhere else? Prices are cheaper than AMC/​Star, Service is always A+, and oh yeah, they have powered recliners for seats!!! That’s really all I have to say about it.
1 thing to take into consideration… It is best to plan a day in advance. Its not random seating like most theaters. You actually pick your seats in advance. So, for a movie that has been out for a while on a not-​so-​busy day, you should be fine, but if you are planning on going prime time, do yourself a favor and plan in advance, at least a day.

This theather will give you that warm fuzzy feeling, even if you see a horrible movie.
Yes it is that good. We liked it so much, we went twice in 1 week and we live in Roseville.
Like anything in this area, if you go at peak times, it is going to be a madhouse.
The Hubs and I usually go to the movies on Sunday mornings, so we can avoid being here when it is super crazy.
5 Stars all around!
First, price. If you go at peak times, or see 3D it can get a bit pricy. BUT if you go any day before 6 pm, $ 6! That is amazing. Now food prices are a totally different story, like any theather they are sky high. I don’t need a $ 13 beer to see a movie… or a ball game. It’s just gotten out of control. $ 6+ for a «small» popcorn. Ouch. But again, that is the industry all around hiking those prices up, it isn’t just Emagine.
Second, atmosphere. It feels a bit like a hotel lobby when you walk in. it is very sleek and modern. Lots of touch screen kiosk to buy or pick up tickets. Staff all around was very nice and friendly.
Third, concessions. SO efficent! I LOVE the set up! Walk up and grab the candy you want. You don’t have to wait forever just to get a pack of skittles. If you want popcorn, just walk to the popcorn counter (!bonus! They add butter to the popcorn half way if you want it!) There is pizza, fried green beans, nachos. pretty much anything you can think of. Pop machines are the nifty Coke machine with 100’s of flavors.
Fourth, Seats. Reserved seating. I don’t know why this wasn’t in theaters before «luxury» seating. Honestly, that is always the worst part of going to a movie. Hoping you get good seats, and they are enough for your group. Then there are the recliners. They are almost too comfortable. I have nearly fallen asleep in these sets watching some realy good movies! I just get too comfortable and feel like dozing off.
Fifth, rewards! They have a rewards program that allows you to collect points with ticket AND concession purchases! Other theaters will only allows you to earn points with ticket purchases, or you have to pay to join the program. Emagine’s program is free!

This is the best movie theater ever! Why?
First: All movies before 6 pm are only $ 6 everyday!
Second: You can book your tickets online, choose your seats, and do not need to pay extra for reservation fees.
Third: Super comfortable seats that recline!
Fourth: Lots of leg room! No need for the uncomfortable excuse me.
Fifth: If your movie starts at 5 pm, there are only 15 minutes of preview.
Sixth: They have a bar & lounge! (;
Seventh: Lots of popcorn, beverage, & food choices!
Eighth: Super friendly staff!

I did not expect to be blown away, I expected good but not EXCELLENCE!
Went on 12−29−14 to catch the 1:15 showing of The Gambler.
The parking lot was jam packed, so I expected a long wait, not at all, several self serve kiosks, plus two registers staffed by smiling –helpful people, LIZ was at our service, guiding us through the touch screen prompts, helping us pre-​select our seats:
we chose H-​12 H-​11
Top row center of the screen.
To be honest, I was a tad bit reluctant to pick the middle of a row, climbing over others & all that, but boy oh boy was I in for a surprise!
Walked in and in between each row appears to be at least a 3 foot buffer
You can be fully reclined in your overstuffed chaise lounge & people can still walk by with out turning sideways or bumping into you.
H-​11 & H-​12 were perfect, as mentioned top row & center
The rows are tiered at such an angel that there were ZERO VISUAL obstructions.
The bride is 5’2 and got a perfect view of the screen while 30% reclined
The auditorium was clean, comfy & just the right temperature.
The recliners are very generous in size, they recline and the foot rest is a nice treat!
The controls are lit up just a tad, so you can see the 5 control buttons
The sound-​lighting were perfect.
HUGE Screen in theater #1, the 18 in attendance were treated to a very nice venue.
As we left a staff of 3 with brooms & dustpans were in the foyer, ready to pounce on it, I had the chance to chat with the manager Art Hennessy about how nice the place was & the great service from Liz, he was very kind & enjoyed the feedback.
With nine auditoriums including one with a floor-​to-​ceiling E-​Max screen, the theater boasts increasingly popular innovations like reserved luxury seating in power recliners, a full-​service bar and a frozen dessert bar.
PLUS
The site is working with Plymouth’s Ironwood Grill to provide a large menu of made-​to-​order dishes. The food can be delivered right to a patron’s seat.

This was a five star theater experience. All theaters have assigned seating. It’s best to buy your tickets online and select your seats because they have up to four sold out theaters per day. They have a bar area with many TVs and it’s very plush lounge area in the lobby. The seats are leather and they decline very very comfortable. If you order food and its not ready before the movie starts they will deliver it right to your seat. Folks it just doesn’t get better than this. I love the Emagine theater
