This place always had good deals, I like the 9.99 meal deals, I can eat lots of rolls and a meal. They have good sweet tea. I normally get seated in the bar area for some reason, its not to loud. I have not been there during any game. One thing that does drive me nuts is the temp. It’s super hot or cold, you can watch the staff turn it up and down during your meal. They need to set it and lock it up. Food good, service good. 4 star because I don’t like to be hottttttt when I am eating

the Cajun chicken pasta is good and so is the salmon. but the service at this restaurant is horrible. it took the waitress 25 minutes to take our order. I blame this on the management who didn’t have enough staff to cover the shift change from lunch to dinner. it’s a shame that a restaurant with good food has such bad service

Positive note: the cedar plank salmon is awesome Negative notes: the service is slow, and my server brought me red wine instead of white wine for a refill. The lettuce in my salad had brown, slimy spots.

Called in to see if they had any prime rib available but the person that worked there was very unprofessional and unhelpful. and replied with a «I don’t know, they should. » and then hangs up. if you don’t know then you should go and ask the kitchen! HORRIBLE customer service…

I’ll give ‘em 3 stars for now because it’s hit or miss with this location. Sometimes you can get a great hot app, other times you wonder what the hell happened to it before they brought it to the table… and wonder why they served it. Prepare to be thirsty. It’s just hard to get refills, folks. We are still trying to figure out what is going on with the bacon smashed potatoes. So far we know it was not real bacon and not real potatoes, so therefore, we are not sure what the mystery lumps are… And now for the high points: Those free rolls. Mmm. The steaks are always cooked to a nice medium rare just the way we like them.(Strange, I know. Why can’t the steakhouses do this?) The alcoholic drinks are pretty good, especially the ones with skewered fruit.

All I have to say is I know why I haven’t been in a while… SLOW service!!! It took 9 minutes before anyone acknowledged us, got drinks and appetizer not a prob. Salad was the wrong one so sent it back and waited 15 minutes for another SALAD for crying out loud. Oh and there was no one in here… empty so what’s the excuse?

A great place for a casual, inexpensive — $ 20 and under meal! We have been dining here since we moved to the area 10 years ago, in groups from 2 to 20 and have never been disappointed. That said we were there last night for dinner with my 90 year old father, who ordered a ribeye steak, we ordered prime ribs dinners. Well we all got prime ribs. My father, who was hungry didn’t say much as it was late, for him anyway, and ate his prime rib while saying he wished it was the ribeye he ordered. But all in all we had a great night portions are large, and all food was wonderfully prepped and cooked. The warm rolls that are served must be made with crack as it is so addictive! My only gripe is that the rolls are served 4 to a basket regardless on how many are in the party which means for us anyway, that we each get a hot roll, and await for another basket of warm rolls, so one get a cool roll and the others feast on warm rolls. Not the end of the world but just a mild gripe. I do appreciate the fact that the manager on duty always stops by to ask on how thing are going, it shows care and concern for our dining experience, we have been to other places that once the food is served no one comes by until the check is dropped.

Food was great, service was terrible. Went on a slow Friday night and our waitress was awful. She kept forgetting things like silverware and side items. I had to wait several minutes for her to refill my drink when I ran out. When she did get around to my refill it was wrong, turns out it belonged to the guy behind me. My friend who I was having dinner with said that the bartender didn’t do a good job on her mixed drink either. There was a woman walking around(I assume the manager) asking how things were going and I expressed my opinions and she did her best to make things better. I think if I had a better server this would have been a 4 star review.

Only on Sundays O’Charley’s cooks prime rib and it is only 1 of 3 places in Macon(I think) that sells it. I showed up on Sunday and ordered mine med/rare but was served a medium plus one and it was the least cooked piece so that was a bummer. It turned out to be OK, but the horseradish sauce made it even better! You have two options on the horseradish sauce, base mixed with ranch or sour cream, choose the sour cream option! I highly recommend staying away from their steaks as none are flavorful and so not worth the money. Yeast rolls with meal is nice and the brownie desert with ice cream was great!

Good value. Good food. Good service. GREAT Bread & drinks. We had the California Chicken salad and it was super filling. Two of us could have shared it for lunch because of all of the bread we ate. I gather this is a chain restaurant and so most people probably don’t think it needs a comment but as an out-of-towner looking for a quick, casual and light lunch, this was great.
