A & L Purr D Paws

Moved to a new location on 1420 Country Club Drive. Been going to Alicia for years with many different dogs. Pit Bulls to mixed Chiawaua, she is great with them all.

Now it’s 2016 and I am continually impressed with Purr D Paws. I live in Santa Clara but schedule visits with my family with my pups grooming so I can take him to Alicia. Thanks Alicia!

I just purchased my Persian kitty and she was extremely matted I thought I was going to have to take her to the vet and get her sedated just so she can be groomed! But the lovely ladies helped my baby girl and she is knot and matt free :) thank you so much I truly am grateful!!!

Pur D Paws is without a doubt the best dog groomer in the Fresno and Madera area. I have been taking my Pomeranian to Alicia for the last 6 years and there is no one better! When I have taken my Pom to other groomers, I show them pictures of Alicia’s work, but am always disappointed when I pick her up. For the last two years, I lived in Hawaii and tried many different groomers, but no one could do it like Alicia. She does the perfect lion cut! It took me so long to write this review because I didn’t want to give away my hidden gem. My Pom is now 11 years old and I don’t trust her with anyone else. She also grooms my grandmother’s Cocker Spaniel and does great with his haircut, too!
Pur D Paws is very reasonably priced as well. Even though I live in Fresno, it is totally worth the drive to Madera. The shop is always clean and smells nice (not like wet dog). You won’t be disappointed if you bring your dog to Pur D Paws!

Excellent staff and extremely friendly. My dog does not like anyone but some how he feels at home there. Like they say — if your dog doesn’t like someone it’s for a reason and if they do then you can also trust them. I love this place and it’s very affordable.

I would highly recommend them to anyone. I had adopted a pommie mix from the local spca who was in dire need of grooming. I wanted him clean before neutering and bringing him home. When I first laid eyes on him after the grooming I couldn’t have been more pleased. He was so cute, and soft and smelt so good. It made his transition to a new life so much easier and more comfortable. You won’t be disappointed with the attention and care they give to your pet and grooming.
