Wow! What great service, just great, super job 4 senses! They were courteous, professional, very timely and did a fantastic job, so pleased!

It was a summer of too much work and not enough hands. My husband and I called 4 Senses Home Services a few years ago out of sheer desperation! Ewa came by to meet us and quoted me an excellent, competitive price. After our first cleaning, we were completely sold! Following a visit from 4 Senses, the whole house smells fresh and clean, and we love the fact that green products are used. Ewa and Mariusz have built up quite a business for themselves. We are continually impressed by their courtesy, professionalism, trustworthiness, and attention to detail. We contracted with 4 Senses to clean our house. Our experience was extremely disappointing. When we arrived home, a member of the cleaning crew greeted us with the news that their car could not be started, that the owner had neglected to put gas in it. She asked my husband to help her. Being a nice guy, he put a little gas he had in a gas can into the car. It still would not start. Then they sent him to the gas station to get more gas. It still would not start. it turns out they had tried so many times to start it that they has drained the battery. Finally my husband gave the car a jump and it started. Naturally all this took quite a bit of my husband’s time (I would estimate over half an hour, as well as considerable time of the member of the cleaning crew he was interacting with). Mind you we were being charged by the hour for the service and the whole crew no doubt had taken considerable time before we got back trying to resolve their problem. Finally they left. The house overall was clean, however there were many things they missed including baseboards and door surfaces, especially in the lower level which they cleaned last and poorly, probably because they were distracted by the car.
But the real capper came with the bill. They charged us $ 475, which represented over four hours work for the crew of three. When we protested that they had not taken into account all the time the crew had clearly spent with the car debachal, to say nothing of my husband’s time, the owner claimed that in actuallity the crew had been here for five hours, and to bolster her argument, generated start and stop times that did not reflect reality. She had no interest in our satisfaction what so ever.
This is one of the more expensive cleaning services in the Madison area. For that, we expected premium service. Instead, my husband (and the house) reeked of gasoline, I had to spend a couple of hours completely the cleaning. In addition we got a huge bill and an unpleasant and disingenuous argument on the part of the owner.
We will pay the bill because we have no other recourse, but we hope that our experience is a cautionary tale for others considering using their service.
