Description

Specialties

Our mission is to support individuals, families and professionals impacted by Alzheimer’s disease and other dementias through information, education, consultation and advocacy; and to promote the advancement of scientific research to better diagnose, treat and ultimately eliminate Alzheimer’s disease.

History

Established in 1985.

The Alliance began providing services as a nonprofit organization in 1985. In 1990, it was incorporated as a chapter of the National Alzheimer’s Association. In 2009, the Alzheimer’s & Dementia Alliance of Wisconsin became an independent nonprofit organization and is governed by a local board of directors.

We also maintain two regional offices — one serving Grant and Richland counties, and the other serving Columbia and Sauk counties.
