Art Adventures Inc, located in Madison, has been teaching art to young children for over 10 years now. Enrollment is ongoing. Call anytime for availability. Parents can choose between morning or afternoon classes for an eight week session. The curriculum focuses on process based art instruction for children ages 2 — 6. Parents stay with children ages 2 – 3, ages 4 and up can be dropped off. Messy art will be encouraged and many types of art materials will be explored. Students create unique, one of a kind artwork. All classes are taught by Evelyn Cucchiara, who is a New Jersey State Certified Art Teacher with over 20 years of teaching experience with children, as well as a Certified Art Therapist. And yes, I do birthday parties. :)

History

Established in 1999.

Art Adventures has been the «secret art studio» of Madison for many years now. The classes are limited to six students, so each student gets individual attention. And our art classes are fun — try our popular class for 2 — 3 year olds — we start with a song and a story and then experiment with lots of different art materials. 4 — 6 year olds have their first taste of real art, but the focus is on their individual creativity, not the «right «way to do it. In fact, there is no wrong way.

Parents are amazed at the art work their children produce — and the children love it. Come experience it for yourself — see what all the talk is about — come and get messy with Mrs. C.

I have been teaching art to your children for many years, and I absolutely love it! The expressions on the kids faces when the smear paint for the first time, or realize they are free to create in whatever way they want are priceless.

I have my BFA in Art Education/​Art Therapy from College of New Rochelle in New Rochelle, NY, and my MA in Fine Arts Education from Kean University here in NJ.
