Meet the Business Owner

Dr. John Bonsett-​Veal, O. D.

Business Owner

Dr. Bonsett-​Veal received his Doctor of Optometry degree in 1980 from the Indiana University School of Optometry. He has taken extensive courses in Excimer Laser Technology and Techniques at Northeastern State University College of Optometry. He is certified to use Diagnostic and Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents for Examination and Foreign Body Removal from the eye.

As past President and recipient of the Wisconsin Optometric Association’s Optometrist of the Year Award, Dr. Bonsett-​Veal is currently a member of the WOA as well as the American Optometric Association.

His special clinical skills include:

–Fitting gas permeable and soft contact lenses

–Fitting specialty toric and bifocal contact lenses

–Pediatric eye care

–Treatment of diseases of the eye

–Foreign body removal from the eyes and eyelids

–Cataract surgery co-​management

–Refractive surgery co-​management
