I had a strange experience here. It’s a nice showroom and appears well-staffed. I went in with some questions about flooring. I was helped promptly, but the salesman seemed almost like he was just trying to answer my questions as minimally and quickly as possible. No additional information, just short answers. I didn’t learn very much. He directed me towards a sample of flooring, which I took home. But since I just didn’t get the information I needed in order to make a purchase, so after a couple of weeks I just returned the sample… I went in and was greeted promptly and the salesman just took the sample. He didn’t ask whether I had additional questions, if there was anything else he could help with, if we were planning to purchase the flooring, etc. Both encounters were super bizarre. A low-pressure sales environment is nice, but this was like negative pressure. It felt like they didn’t care at all whether they got our business or not. We have two projects in mind and each would cost a few to several thousand dollars… but apparently it’s too burdensome for these people to take our money. They’re not rude, exactly, but only minimally friendly/helpful. We’re going to try one of the other local flooring stores.

These guys are the awesome. I worked with Jeff for carpeting in my new(to me) home. I was having an entire level done, so this was a big job. He was very easy to work with and unlike so many others in customer service, was able to deliver on everthing he promised to do. The staff that installed my carpet were great too. These guys showed up right on time. The even wanted to come early to start the job. The crew took my old carpet, tossed it and installed the new carpet flawlessly. My house looks awesome. I can’t express how pleased I am with Carpets Plus, Jeff H, and the installation team. Great prices, great staff. What more could you ask for?

Definitely not a fan of the service division and their follow up. This company installed flooring in our space about 9 years ago. We have some issues with cracking tile. WEREALIZEWARRANTYISDONE, we just want help and will pay. We made an initial call and the reception forwarded us to voice mail. One week later no response. We called again and the same however this time we called the next day. Finally someone returned our call and scheduled a visit… progress. The gentleman in their service division came out and looked at the work. He said he’d get with his installer and get us some ideas. They never called back! Needless to say we PAID someone else to help us and they did fine work. Was it that Carpets Plus was«afraid» that we were going to argue warranty issue. Come on it has been 9 years and we just want some help. We get it. Oh well, lost business and lost recommendation for future work. Thanks for the site visit at least.
