History

Established in 2002.

I started out doing this as a hobby for friends and family in California many many years ago, and when I realized there were a lot of other people out there I could be helping, I turned my hobby into a full-​scale business so I could reach out to help even more people. I successfully ran my business in California for sometime before my family relocated to our home-​sweet-​home, our little paradise, in Madison, Alabama. I brought my business here with me and started it up officially in Alabama in February 2015.

My Mom and Grandmother died within a month of each other. This left me with an enormous amount of stuff with which to do something (use, donate, sell). I handled most of it, but got down to that last little bit and just didn’t know where to put it or what to do with it. I stacked it up in two rooms, and then obsessed about what to do with it. The task was daunting and was making me neurotic. Finally, my partner arranged for Danielle to show up one morning, and in less than an hour, the first room was done. The second room also took less than an hour. Danielle helped me dust, lift, box and place things in places that made sense. The best part is she hauled off the donate pile and will send me an itemized receipt for tax purposes. I was embarrassed at first about the idea of having somebody into my inner sanctum who would see my «mess» but Danielle was absolutely not judgmental. She surveyed the space, formulated a plan and we got to work. At the end, I found out she helps with moving, downsizing, staging, and she does sheds and garages. This is the beginning of a beautiful relationship!

Danielle worked quickly and efficiently to get my house whipped into shape. Most importantly, she was respectful of my space and my comfort level. It can be an intimidating thing to let someone into my mess, even when it’s her job, but she was gracious and kind. And effective — she tamed my clutter and gave me my home back!

I was overwhelmed with the mess in my house. We have a large and active family so it is near impossible to keep it organized. A friend suggested Danielle. I needed someone to work on my whole house, yard and garage. Danielle arrived in a bright, optimistic mood ready work. So what did she do?
–Before she started she sat and talked with me to get an idea how we use our home
–She then toured it asking me and my family about what she saw and what we would like to have done
–She then made a plan and discussed it with me. It turned out that we need to have some things built in order to have a place for all of our things
–She met with our handyman and planned with him
–While doing this, she cleaned and organized my closets-​never wasting any time
–I have some mobility issues but she worked around that so that I could participate
–She made us laugh through out whole process, and in the end we had a beautifully organized house, a dumpster full of stuff we don’t need, and lots of laughs. And a strong sense of pride after seeing what we had accomplished.
The only complaint that I have about her is that she moved away. I highly recommend Danielle! I have worked with organizers before, but never with someone who not only organizes, but who also can design. I have never worked with someone who gets how my family and I use our house. Past organizers were more concern with how it looked at the end than how it would function. Not Danielle. Everything function well when she was done.

This lady will make sure you get on track. Especially if you just moved in. Let me tell you she is Wonder Woman of organizing. I’ll tell you this though she will give you suggestions on what to do and how you want things. However, I would suggest listening to her. Why do deal with the hassle of taking multiple weekends out of your time, when she can more than likely get it done in one weekend. Depending on how much you have to organize and get cleaned up.
