Dean Michaels Studio was absolutely fantastic from the customer service to the photographers we worked with. Everyone was very professional, they responded quickly, showed up on time and listened to our needs and wants for the day. As an artist I can say they truly did a great job getting nice lighting, colors and perspective.

We booked Dean Michaels to be our wedding photographer as they came recommended from a lot of our friends. We just had our engagement shoot and we couldn’t be happier with the pictures! Our photographer, Rich, was amazing. We had no idea what to do and he was SO helpful in showing us everything. He also gave us awesome tips and pointers. He made everything seem so comfortable and had just great ideas regarding backgrounds and where/​how to stand. We are so happy we chose Dean Michaels and absolutely cannot wait for our wedding this year!

Dean Michaels Studio has been photographing me since i was a little girl. I am so grateful that as an adult i have many photos to look back on. I have no doubt in my mind that i will be using this studio for my wedding, everyone in the studio is amazing!

Dean Michael’s is the BEST! The entire team makes you feel so special and well taken care of from beginning to finish. In addition to the superb service, the quality of the photos is amazing! The photographer guides you so well and the shots come out amazing. I did a shoot of my 2-​year old daughter and myself and the pictures are hung all over my home. I can’t wait to use them again!

Dean is the only photographer I would work with for our engagement and wedding pics. He is relaxing and fun to be around but his work is amazing. I don’t smile on cue and he had me laughing the entire time. He also is extremely self aware and knows when its time to move on with the shoot. Christina helped the day of our wedding and she is a saint. She was very good at balancing a good time while making sure to get the shots she needed. No reason to consider another photographer.
Videographer stayed out of the way as well

This is my second review for Dean Michael’s Studio. The first review was a rave about the service they provided to my husband and me during our wedding. This one is regarding the Maternity Shoot we experienced yesterday with Rich. I encourage all to consider using Dean Michael’s Studio, not only for your Engagement Shoot/​Wedding, but also for your Maternity Shoots.
We met with Rich in Sandy Hook yesterday at 6.00pm. My husband and I brought a few fun props with us, but didn’t think the shoot would take more than an hour, at best. Working with Rich was just as we remembered. Rich was excited to pose us perfectly, fix our hair and outfits, find the best lighting, crawl around in the sand, and use different backgrounds around the Sandy Hook area. In fact, we followed him around to three different locations so our pictures had a variety of backdrops. We ended in the water at the bay, with the sunset behind us. Perfection.
To be honest with you, I originally thought a Maternity Shoot to be a little corny, for lack of a better word. But the pictures that Rich showed us quickly on his camera spoke for themselves. Not only were they breathtaking pictures that I can’t wait to share with my future daughter, but the experience in itself was special, exciting, and lots of fun. Even my husband drove away from the parking lot appreciating the experience.
I can’t say enough amazing things about Dean Michael’s Studio, especially Rich. I have referred them to six other couples, all of which have used and referred them. They are professional, creative, and just plain, nice people.

Very Little creativity in my wedding photos. I thought I was paying for a photojournalistic style wedding album. Unfortunately my relatives took better pictures than my two photographers that day. Most of the photos were staged, and there were no silhouettes (which I thought was a pretty basic way to be creative through photography). Both photographers were very nice people, but I must admit they did a mediocre job. My video was lack-​luster as well… Amateur at best. Very upsetting because I won’t be able to take this decision back, as there is only one day to get it right.

From start to finish… excellent service!!! The consultation was thorough and very informative. Just got married and we used 2 photographers to cover our wedding ceremony. They were both so friendly, warm and unobtrusive. So many little details and beautiful memories were captured. The picking of photos and ordering of albums etc is super easy and convenient as well. Highly recommend them to capture a special important day.

Had a great experience with Dean Michael’s! Their staff and photographers are really talented at what they do. We interviewed several other studios who were either too ‘commercial” or too over-​the-​top. However, I can honestly say that our experience Dean Michael’s was perfect. We did an engagement shoot, which came out beautifully. On the day of our wedding, our photographers were not intrusive, but at the same time got all the shots of family and friends. We booked our videographer with them as well, and absolutely love our wedding video. Overall, a great place to book your wedding photos!
