Specialties
Fractal provides S.T.E.A.M. (science, technology, engineering, art & math) enrichment programming for school aged participants.
Through hands-on, project-based learning approaches we build the connection between school and the real world.
Workshops are held on weeknight evenings, non-school days, Saturday mornings, and school vacation times. Our workshops range from 1 session meeting for 2 hours, to multi-day and multi-week sessions.
All of the workshops we offer can be found on our website
History
Established in 2011.
Fractal started as a summer program working with Madison Schools & Community Recreation (MSCR), the Madison Children’s Museum, and the Goodman Community Center. Since then we have branched out to provide our own programming through Sector67, a community workspace, and work with countless other organizations in Madison and the surrounding communities.

Business Owner
Heather received a BA in Elementary Education from UW-Whitewater in 2009. She has worked as a teacher in a variety of roles at schools. When she felt herself starting to lose her passion for teaching she decided to found Fractal as a creative way to teach learners of all ability levels that she was unable to do in the traditional school setting.
