At first glance this seems like a very clean and professional studio but for me it’s all in the details. I purchased a groupon for a full set of the basic natural lashes and a 2-​week fill for $ 65. Then when I got there I was told that to really have any impact I needed to upgrade to the next package, ended up being $ 75 more. I expected an increase but not that much more and my lashes were just okay. But here are my real issues with the studio.
1. The sheet that you lay on had lashes on it and was not cleaned between clients. The girl doing my lashes, the owner, was wiping them off with her hand as I was laying down.
2. They use really cheap tape instead of good medical adhesive, that aside, she cut two pieces of tape for each eye and put them on her arm. Then proceeded to peel them off her arm and stick them to my eye. TOTALLY UNSANITARY. I really should have gotten up and walked out at that point but I felt like I was stuck until the end.
3. The application was fine (though long, 2 hours) and they looked good and natural but ALL of the lashes fell off THE NEXT DAY. I went to my regular lash girl (she’s amazing) 1 week later and she said I had 1 lash left. I had a full beautiful set in 1.5 hour for $ 125.
Needless to say I will not be returning and I cancelled the 2 week fill that was included with the groupon. Yes I cancelled a FREE fill.
