Specialties

My goal as a bodyworker is to get my clients out of pain and help them restore balance to their bodies. I’ve been at it as a massage therapist for about 12 years and now count Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine as new tools to help achieve that balance. Massage and acupuncture are effective means of reliving chronic and acute pain from injury, repetitive use, carpal tunnel, nerve impingement and daily stress. In our sessions, we can also explore factors such as nutrition, digestion, organ imbalance, sleep habits and more. My hope is that you come out of our treatments inspired and hopeful that change is possible.

I offer sessions in my Santa Monica office or in your home. I also provide corporate chair massage to businesses around Los Angeles and would love the opportunity to get involved in your company’s wellness program. (What wellness program, you say?!? … let’s start one!)

Thanks for having a look at my practice and I welcome comments, feedback and questions.

History

Established in 2000.

I began my private practice in Boulder, Colorado in 2000. While in Boulder, I worked with world-class athletes (Ironman, Olympians, triathletes, cyclists, mountain climbers, skiers), several corporations/employee wellness programs, and in spas and chiropractic centers. It was there that I received additional specialized training in whiplash treatment, medical massage, trauma in the body, anma (Japanese style of massage) and pain management of neck/shoulder, low back, hip and knees. In 2005, I moved my practice to Los Angeles and have been in private practice here for 7 years. That practice includes corporate chair massage at 2 Whole Foods locations, Equinox Spa, chiropractic offices and high end clientele at homes and film sets. In April of 2012, I finished my training for Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine from Yo San University and am now incorporating my new skills into my existing practice.
