Going here 11 years, now drive 28 miles round trip to see her. The service is excellent, she communicates well about appointments, and she is busy because she is so good. Happy to see her success, even if it means it’s harder for me to get a haircut.

Went here while waiting for a haircut at a chain place. Sandy is great. This is a «no-​thrills» place with friendly demeanor, affordable hair-​cuts, and always a job well done. I’ve become a regular with her and she always gets me in around the time that I want. Plus, it’s nice to support a locally owned business for once (since I do most of my shopping on Amazon!). :)

Been here a few times. Like the others say, she’s super sweet and good at what she does. She’ll talk if you want to talk, she’ll just do her thing if you don’t really engage. She’s got the news on right by the chair so you have something to stare at if you like. Reasonably priced, especially for the job she does. She also used a little vacuum when she’s done to suck up the extra hairs on my head, got more of the loose hairs off and it felt really cool so that was a plus. Never seen anyone do that, but maybe I’ve been to too many chains.
Overall, great experience, great value, great lady. Totally recommend her

BEST. HAIRCUT. EVER.
I was in Madison on a trip, needed a cut and saw her great reviews. Was able to get a same day appointment. My wife was so happy with the cut, I took our 19 year old son the next day. His cut was equally as good.
Sandy is an interesting, sweet lady. Enjoys what see does and is good at it. I’ll definitely be back when in Madison again!

Posting a quick update: I’m pretty much a regular now, it’s just like all the other reviews said: Sandy is fast, cheap but attentive and very nice. She sometimes also keeps the store open past normal hours if there’s an appointment too! Highly recommended.

I decided to try Sandy out in January of this year. I have been back ever since because of how great she was! Quick haircut that has personal attention for a good price. Sandy is such a nice person… I always enjoy talking to her, too. She’s taken me as a walk in and with an appointment. Overall, a nice person and a nice haircut. You can watch the Price is Right, too, if the time of your appointment is right.

Saw this place while parking to get hair cut at franchise chain. Decided to go here instead. Glad I did. Great local barbershop. Very friendly. Haircut price in line with competition. Nice local owned business. I didn’t have cash on me and she said, «no problem, I’m here until six, just come back and pay me». I did find some in my wallet but… how often do you hear that?
